Princesses Long Island’s Ratings Drop; Also, Gretchen Rossi Offers The New Reality TV Stars Her Best Advice

We're two episodes into Princesses: Long Island, and I have to admit that I don't hate the show. Sure, my summer TV standards are ridiculously low, but I fully expected these self-proclaimed princesses to annoy me to no end. 

Mostly, I find the cast, Chanel Omari, Erica Gimbel, Amanda Bertoncini, Ashlee White, Joey Lauren, and Casey Cohen, to be entertaining. I mean, it's Bravo. I don't expect mature, well-rounded characters. I expect train wrecks, and this cast delivers! For me, what makes Princesses enjoyable to watch is that there's no one princess ruining the dynamic of the show, trying to be the queen. (see Big Rich Atlanta and Married to Medicine)

However, not many agree with me, as the show's ratings have dropped. Over 1.2 million viewers checked out the premiere of Princesses: Long Island but only 887,000 came back for seconds. In the event that Bravo renews the show, Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi has offered the princesses some advice on "living authentically" on reality TV.
