Teresa Giudice Isn’t Impressed With Jim Marchese, But Doesn’t Hold It Against Amber

So far this week the only Real Housewives of New Jersey stars to share their thoughts on this week’s hot mess are Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.

Teresa took time out from her beachy summer vacay with the family to dish on the drama and to praise her brother Joe Gorga for keeping his temper in check this time around when it came to the confrontation with Jim Marchese

Teresa shared, “As for the ugliness of the first responders party and what came after, I will say I’m very proud of my brother for keeping his cool. Jim Marchese came at him, said terrible things, and he didn’t take the bait.”

Tre feels some sympathy for Amber Marchese and she calls out Jim for lying to her face.  “I did feel sorry for Amber because she was just in a physical fight and what her husband was saying wasn’t her fault. But I wanted to hear the rumors about what Jim said directly from him. So I asked him. And he lied. Right to my face. That is not what an honorable man does. Dina and I were giving him the benefit of a doubt, trying to be nice to him, and he got even madder and uglier with us. You don’t need to speak to women like that, you don’t need to speak to anyone like that.”

Teresa, like a vast majority of viewers, was not digging Jim’s speech about suing people and causing them financial ruin.  “Then we got to hear Jim’s little lawyer speech. There are no words. What professional talks like that? I know Amber tries to defend him saying he was protecting her and got dragged into all this, but that amazingness was all said in an interview with him, apart from the fight. No one tricked or forced him into saying those awful things. That was all him.”  Two points for Teresa.

She reiterates that she still thinks Amber is lovely and won’t judge her based on Jim’s actions and words.  “As I said though, I don’t blame Amber for her husband. Amber has always been very nice and gracious to me. I try and see people for who they are, not who they’re married to.”

Teresa does have a good point. Amber has claimed that Jim just agreed to filming because this whole reality TV thing was her dream and he wanted to be supportive.  But the husbands do NOT have to do the talking head interviews and the producers didn’t fake or edit up that sue-happy speech he gave…   I get that he wants to help bring the drama and they are certainly doing that, but threatening lawsuits and cop calling at every turn completely sucks the fun out of reality TV, in my opinion.  You need thick skin and a high tolerance for crazy to do these shows and hopefully Jim gets that now, after having this first season under his belt.  If he’s truly this sue-happy, though, I have a feeling Bravo won’t want him back in the mix next season.  These RHONJ stars have enough legal drama already…
