Shahs of Sunset season 4

The Shahs of Sunset is back tonight after a long hiatus.  Almost the whole cast is returning for the fourth season, minus Lilly Ghalichi and our all-time favorite cast member, her adorable dog, Coconut Circles.

Lilly shared her thoughts on reality TV and her Shahs of Sunset experience in a new interview with K9 magazine.   Lilly says it was an emotionally tolling experience for her.  “Being on Shahs is an experience I will never forget. To be on a reality show on a national network as big as Bravo is isn’t easy. The entire world is watching, and judging you. It’s a very emotionally tolling experience, and difficult to handle, especially when you’re on an ensemble cast where fighting and drama is encouraged. I will forever cherish my time and experiences on the show, but am so happy to no longer be doing it!”

She wouldn’t say “no” to a future show on reality TV, but she would never do another ensemble show.  Lilly tells the magazine, “I would never say never, but it would have to be the right show for me to consider it. I have a real life outside of the show, a very busy real life. I run multiple businesses and don’t have time for drama, or to be in an emotional state. If a show came along that had a positive message, and didn’t involve a lot of drama and fighting, I would consider it. As far as another ensemble Shahs type show, not a chance.”

On the way she was edited on SoS, “My image on Shahs was of a spoiled rich girl that only cared about her hair and makeup, that couldn’t be further from the truth. I am a lawyer, and an entrepreneur that has launched over eight successful businesses. My life is far from easy. I work 12 hour days on a regular basis, and there is no such thing as a day off.”

Tonight Shahs comes back with a bang.  Season four looks like it’s going to be a roller coaster.  Hopefully it’s a fun ride and doesn’t make us want to puke.   It looks like there will be plenty of drama, drinking and debauchery.  Are you ready?

We’ll be live-tweeting the premiere tonight, so join us at 10 p.m. EST for the snarking.
