Ray J Renegotiates His Contract Before Returning To Love & Hip Hop Hollywood

For the love of Ray J, I don’t know how I’m going to make it through another season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood! Thankfully, I won’t have to suffer through it without Brandi’s little brother. It was touch and go for a moment though. Phew!

The franchise has had its ups and downs, but L&HH: ATL seems to have the lock on the popularity and the rest of the cities seem to be flailing…although not for the lack of manufactured drama. However, Ray J isn’t a fan of creating craziness for ratings, and he’s been threatening to peace out from the series if his story line didn’t start focusing less on mayhem and more on his business pursuits.

The guy who is way less famous than Kim Kardashian even though he co-starred in the sex tape that sky-rocketed her into international stardom and an unfathomable bank account is tiring of the craziness that seems to follow him on the VH1 reality show.

Ray J has even threatened to quit so he can focus more on building a life with Princess. He blames the show for creating unnecessary negativity in their relationship. Show creator Mona Scott-Young recognizes that Ray J is one of the only names saving the Hollywood franchise, so she was quick to sweeten his deal.

According to TMZ, Ray and Princess met with Mona to share their concerns and lobby for more positive editing when it comes to their love life. The site claims that the trio came to a deal that promises more balance when it came to airing the good and bad parts of their relationship…as long as the couple could continue to deliver some drama for the cameras. Ray even managed to negotiate a new contract which includes bonuses if the ratings increase. We all know drama equals ratings on this show!

Yes, this is coming from the same guy who inadvertently Heismanned his girlfriend Princess into to pool during a fight after a romantic dinner.
