Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Reunion

Sexual Assault Charges Dropped Against Ashley Darby’s Husband Michael Darby

Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Ashley Darby’s husband Michael Darby was charged with sexual assault after he allegedly grabbed a cameraman’s butt during filming. Bravo and the production company behind the show confirmed that he was suspended from filming. Now all the charges have been dropped.

According to an article from the Washington Post, prosecutors dropped charges of second-degree assault and improper sexual contact.

Ramon Korionoff, a spokesperson for Montgomery County, shared “The case was dismissed due to insufficient evidence.” He also said, “The complaining witness states there were no witnesses who actually saw the incident.”

Michael’s Attorney Mike Rowan said, “The charges were dropped. They were baseless.” He added, “There were a number of alleged witnesses who said it did not happen. The peace order request by the alleged victim was also denied. There was simply nothing that happened, and nothing here.”

As of this moment, neither Ashley nor Michael has spoken out about this, but Ashley did post a photo of the two of them on Instagram and wrote “Star light, star bright, loving you by the fire light.”
