It’s been a wonderful year in the lives of 90 Day Fiance original cast members Paola and Russ Mayfield. After suffering a tragic miscarriage, Paola is finally enjoying a healthy pregnancy and the happy couple just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.
On Sunday, Russ shared a photo on Instagram of the couple looking very much in love. Paola looked lovely with an undeniable prenatal glow. Russ captioned the pic with sweet sentiments, “These five years sure have flown. My love and appreciation for you has never been greater. You’re the foundation of our family and I wouldn’t be who I am today without your passion and drive. Through the thick and thin, I’m grateful for all we have and will continue to pursue…and there’s so much more to come!”
The couple’s journey to start a family, and Paola’s heartbreaking miscarriage was the focal point of their scenes on 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After. Her prior inability to carry her baby to term was due to complications from her RH-negative blood type. This time around, presumably, Paola received the specialized treatment recommended for this issue, and can continue to enjoy her pregnancy without anxiety. The couple have revealed that they are expecting a son later in the year.
Perhaps ready to celebrate and share her pregnancy, last week Paolo had posted a picture to Instagram posing in a crochet bikini top and a sassy red thong. She captioned the post saying, “My little angel is growing healthy and stronger. I cant wait to meet you.”
