Lisa Rinna’s Daughters Reported To Be Pursuing Their Own Reality Show

It would be difficult to dispute that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna is the queen of the hustle. From hawking adult diapers to shilling her clothing line on QVC, Lisa will do anything to make a buck. Nothing wrong with that. For the right price, who wouldn’t don a diaper on television?

Lisa’s favorite sideline over the past few years, however, has been as a “momager,” attempting to launch her daughters with Harry Hamlin into modeling careers ala Yolanda Hadid. Delilah Hamlin and Amelia Hamlin have had some success in the modeling world so far, with magazine covers and ad campaigns. And now, there is an unconfirmed report that a possible reality show starring the Hamlin sisters in the works.

A source told Hollywood Life that Delilah and Amelia are “hard at work at filming a sizzle reel for their own reality television show.” In Hollywood speak, a sizzle reel is a short video used to promote a show concept before it has actually gone into production-or it has a confirmed production deal. A sizzle reel could also be filming the young ladies’ mother dancing on a table top. But that is another kind of sizzle reel. One that should be put out with a fire extinguisher.

Delilah and Amelia are “so excited” to be pursuing this project, according to the source. “The show will be focused on their personal lives, so you’ll see all of that, as well as them working hard and hustling to make to big in the [fashion] industry.” While this may all seem to be a familiar path-the children of celebrities getting their own television show-these two might have more to offer than some other celebrity spawn.

Delilah has been open about living with anxiety. And Amelia has been honest about struggling with an eating disorder.  Maybe the two of them could share their experiences in a way that would be beneficial for other young people going through similar circumstances. A reality show with a purpose and meaning? Is it possible?

According to the Hollywood Life article, the sisters are more than just ubiquitous models. The source shared, “Something people don’t really know about Delilah is that she’s actually an aspiring and very talented singer, so you’ll see her focusing on her singing career.” OK momager Lisa-you’re slipping-how did that not get into an episode of Beverly Hills?

The source further revealed, “The sisters are also starting their own fashion line together.” Just like Mama Dearest! Although Delilah and Amelia’s clothing would probably appeal to a different demographic than Lisa’s fashion line. You know, fans of Lisa.

Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna are so happy, excited and supportive of this project,” according to the Hollywood Life source. And added that Harry and Lisa are “very open to appearing on the show as well, but the show in itself be primarily focused on the sisters themselves.” If I didn’t know better, I would SWEAR that Mother Hamlin had a hand in this “press leak,” but maybe that is just the cynic in me.

From what we have seen of Delilah and Amelia on camera, they do seem a little more low key then their shamelessly exhibitionist mother. It must difficult to engage in teenage rebellion when your mother often acts like a teenager herself! Maybe you go the other way, and conduct yourself with dignity, are respectful of others and exhibit wisdom and maturity. If so, I highly recommend their mother watch each and every episode of the show if it reaches the air! And take notes. Lots of notes.

Time will tell if the proposed Hamlin sisters show ever launches. Until then, we will have to make do with the adventures of their pot-stirring mother on Beverly Hills. After a season of laying low, Lisa is back to her old tricks of creating drama in every scene she is in. We have come to expect nothing less.
