Is it possibly to be embarrassed on someone else’s behalf? That’s how some of Kristin Cavallari’s social media followers felt when they saw her latest Instagram caption.
Others were just downright offended by the insensitive caption Kristin posted on the anniversary of 9/11. Of course, she changed it eventually. However, people still know what the original one said and she never deleted the many comments from offended Instagram users.
According to a report from Page Six, Kristin originally posted a photo with the caption with “NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be here..always remember.” Wow, Betheny, wow. Posting about 9/11 with a photo from fashion week is not a good move. At all.
A source told Page Six that Kristin fired an employee who (allegedly) wrote that caption. Apparently the caption was actually supposed to be “NYC for 24 hours” and the staffer just added the other part. Kristin can’t even post her own Instagram photo?

Well, the original caption caused many waves. One fan wrote, “I love you and think that you are generally spot on in the things that you choose to present, but this is just disrespectful and undermining to the magnitude of events that occurred on that horrific day.”
Another wrote, “This is super insensitive.” Yes. It. Is.

A different person commented, “Let me show off my body and then make a half ass remark about 911. WTF.” WTF is right.
Someone told Kristin, “You’re gorgeous, but maybe this picture is not the right one for today. All those people that lost their loved ones don’t care how hot you look. today.” Another joked, “Felt cute might make it about 9/11 later.”

Kristin hasn’t publicly addressed the controvery or the changed caption, but let’s be honest, she is probably the “inside source” that “leaked” the (alleged) staff firing to Page Six.
TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT KRISTIN (REPORTEDLY) FIRING SOMEONE FOR THAT CAPTION? DO YOU THINK SHE REALLY WROTE IT? WAS THE CAPTION INSENSITIVE?
