Things might be getting litigious over in Salt Lake City! After the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City episode aired with Angie Katsanevas’ eventful Easter brunch, she and Monica Garcia have been going back and forth on social media.
Angie tried to criticize Monica for her behavior at the brunch. She claimed that Monica’s kids were present during the emotional conversation with her mother. On the other hand, Monica clapped back and said that the episode didn’t fully capture the scope of the event. She argued that her kids were actually downstairs in the basement, far away from the chaos.
Apparently, entering Angie’s basement is easier said than done. In a series of posts, Monica claimed that she got injured when trying to go down her basement steps. Now, she’s considering taking legal recourse against her castmate.
Monica took a tumble
In a series of posts, Monica took several shots at Angie and accused her house of not being “up to code.” That’s the type of petty insult we love to hear on Real Housewives, and it’s just another example of why Monica is a perfect fit for this cast. Pettiness aside, she proceeded to explain how she went straight from the Easter brunch to the emergency room because of Angie’s questionable construction.
Monica wrote, “Go get your house up to code and I’m sending you my ER bill after falling down your basement stairs because you didn’t have a railing!”
According to Monica, the scene with her mother happened after she fell down the stairs. She said she went to the emergency room shortly after. On X, formerly known as Twitter, Monica added, “Let’s talk about head injuries since I got one AT YOUR HOME on YOUR stairs and had to leave to get a freaking cat scan! YOU ARE SICK.”
Bumps, blood, and bruises
In case Monica’s story wasn’t convincing enough, she proceeded to post pictures of her injuries to prove that she got hurt at Angie’s. She shared eight photos showing the nasty bruises and cuts she got after tripping down the steps. She wrote, “I left your house with bumps, bloody, and bruised!!! I should sue your ass for not having your home to code you f*ck!”
To make matters worse, Monica also claimed that Angie didn’t even check on her in the hospital. She claimed that everyone called her except for Angie and Lisa Barlow. Seriously, not even a text?
Thankfully, it seems like Monica didn’t sustain any major injuries outside of the bumps and bruises — but still, that looks super painful! Thankfully, there’s plenty of ice in Salt Lake City for those injuries. Either way, let’s hope that Angie put a railing on those steps so this doesn’t happen again.
