RHOSLC Stars Heather Gay and Monica Garcia Suing Each Other

Okay, so THIS is why Heather Gay loathes Monica Garcia now. I figured something would be revealed as to why Heather has such a blanket of hatred for the new Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star and here it is.

While Heather was at BravoCon over the weekend, she made a point to note Monica “lies about everything.” She didn’t offer an explanation or any context, but it looks like the context has magically appeared. According to The U.S. Sun, the ladies are playing Court TV.

Not the Botched Injections!

Uh-oh, it looks like someone wasn’t pleased with their service at Heather’s facility, Beauty Lab + Laser. Monica has filed suit against the company detailing “botched injections” on her nose and her lips. Hang in there, it gets better.

This lawsuit is new and not a part of Season 4 that’s currently airing. Heather and Monica have a friendship fallout which we’ll see later on, but this particular mess stems from legal docs filed in August 2023.

So Team Heather which is Beauty Lab + Laser pulled Mon into court for “breach of contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing.” They allege the woman who needs Mean Mommy to co-sign on a car because of bad credit stiffed them on some payments for face work.

The med spa accuses Monica of signing a contract with them on December 10, 2019 to pay upwards of almost $2500 to get her face shot up with whatever hot filler is on the market.

The breakdown of Mon’s alleged non-payment

Court docs show Monica paid $449, which was the initial payment. Allegedly she was supposed to make $200 monthly payments over the next ten months but failed to do so. Heather’s name was not listed in the complaint because we all know you aren’t allowed to sue your co-stars! Beauty Lab complains of suffering “significant losses and damages” because Monica allegedly skipped out on her bill. They want “not less than $2000” and “reasonable attorney’s fees, and other remedies provided by statute or contract.”

Monica’s Mean Mommy must have given her some money for a retainer because she’s countersuing. She responded to the claim in September and is suing Beauty Lab for “breach of independent duty of care, breach of contract, and breach of duty of good faith and fair dealing.”

Docs show Monica confirming she only made one payment of $449. She explained she did not pay further because Beauty Lab messed up her entire face. Mon feels she “received defective, negligently given injections, which did not have the intended, promised result.” Okay girl, but you did go to all of the sessions, right?

But wait, there’s more!

Because Beauty Lab ALLEGEDLY “botched” Monica’s procedures, she had to go to a “competent party to fix the damage.” My question would be was that “competent party” a “physician” because she received so much “damage.”

“The parties reached an oral accord and satisfaction wherein Monica paid for another, competent party to fix the damage to Monica’s nose and lips caused by the incompetent, negligent actions of Beauty Lab’s staff, and Beauty Lab was entitled to no further payment.”

It was argued Beauty Lab “promised” they wouldn’t try to get more money from Monica. She also maintains she “suffered more damages” than Beauty Lab. These damages include: nose injections given “in a negligent, medically deficient manner” that “diminished” Mon’s nose and “the appearance of Monica’s lips was not improved.”

Stay with me, we’re not done …

Monica who?

Now you’re probably wondering how Monica wasn’t recognized when she continued to receive treatment from Beauty Lab. The streets are saying Monica would disguise herself and use different names (oh hi, Monica Darnell) so her actual identity wasn’t revealed to Beauty Lab staff. I mean, you cannot make this stuff up.

Beauty Lab has yet to respond to Monica’s countersuit.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City continues every Tuesday at 8/7c on Bravo.
