Carl Radke might not be the most popular guy on Bravo right now. However, there are some who believe he dodged a bullet by calling off his engagement to his Summer House co-star Lindsay Hubbard.
These days Carl’s sharing space in the doghouse with Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll. Austen got busted for lying about kissing Shep Rose’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green. Bad dog!
Even though they’re both in trouble, Carl couldn’t resist throwing some shade at his buddy Austen at BravoCon. During the Bravo2Bravo: Bromance at Bravo panel on November 4, a panel of network stars discussed the rules for a successful bromance. Carl offered, “Don’t have sex with your friend’s girlfriend.” Ouch. That one might have stung a little.
Open season on Austen
Later, Austen joked that he always warns new girlfriends not to watch his show.
“Which seasons?” Carl was quick to respond. I would probably say all of them.
A few minutes later, the Trop Hop founder admitted he got into a fight earlier that day with his buddy Shep.
“Who did you hook up with this time?” Carl’s Summer House co-star Andrea Denver wanted to know, implying that Austen might have gone after another of Shep’s girls.
Oddly enough, Austen mentioned that sometimes other men actually want him to sleep with their partners.
“People want me to sleep with their wife while they watch,” the Pillows and Beer podcast co-host said, adding that he gets some crazy DMs from fans. “One, in particular, is relentless. I just recently blocked him. They started to send pics of both of them, and I was like, ‘No, no, no, no, no.’”
Carl’s crazy fan requests
Sharing that he also gets some crazy requests from fans, Carl shared that he’s gotten messages from people who want to buy his used underwear. Ick. When he blocked the person, his BFF Kyle Cooke started receiving messages from the same person asking to buy Carl’s briefs.
Even though Austen and Taylor insist they only kissed and nothing further happened, no one’s buying it – including me. After all, Taylor’s been known to sleep over at Austen’s, especially if she’s been drinking.
“Kissing turns into … we know what kissing is, come on,” Shep told Austen. “Where’s the boundary?
Craig Conover agreed with that theory. “No one stops at kissing,” said the Sewing Down South founder. “No one stops before physical, like, contact.”
Southern Charm airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo. Summer House is expected to return in early 2024.
