Salley Carson is keeping fans guessing about her love life. Bravo’s Southern Charm star recently opened up about Austen Kroll, Kyle Cooke, and the mystery man, the tattoo guy she has been seeing.

During an interview, Carson addressed the ongoing speculation around her relationships with Austen and Kyle Cooke. When asked whether she thinks she and Austen could eventually work, Carson admitted there is still a small possibility. “Yeah. I mean, a very small part,” she said. She also acknowledged that fans have split into two camps, with some rooting for her and Austen and others hoping she ends up with Kyle.
For now, Carson said she isn’t choosing between them. “No. I mean, yeah, I’m having fun,” she said.
Carson also revealed that she is seeing another man. She confirmed that he was the same person she had teased in her tattoo-related soft launch.
“Things are happening. Things are moving,” Carson revealed. However, she recently received a warning from someone who thought the relationship could be “love bombing.” That made Carson decide to slow things down.
“I’m just, you know, I’m going to slow down,” she said.
The situation seems to be moving quickly on the mystery man’s side. Carson explained, “He’ll call me and be like, ‘We’re dating. You’re mine.’” But she isn’t ready to label the relationship yet.
“First of all, you haven’t asked me to date you and I’m not dating you until you ask me,” Carson said. She also made it clear that she wants a relationship she can enjoy openly with her friends. “I’m also not going to date someone that I can’t be public with.”
When it comes to Kyle, Carson described their relationship as friendship with occasional flirting. “We’re just friends. I mean, sometimes flirty,” she said.
Carson has also continued to cross paths with Kyle in New York and the Hamptons. She pointed out that Kyle is dating too, saying, “I was with you the weekend of Fourth of July and you left with a girl the day after?”
As for Austen, Carson still sees long-term potential in him. She believes he could become a great husband and father, even though she doesn’t think he’s ready yet. She said, “I think he’s going to make an incredible dad and he’s going to be a great husband.”
Carson also revealed that she and Austen once looked at AI-generated images of what their children could look like. According to her, Austen even reacted by saying, “Wait, this kind of makes me want kids.”
For now, Carson appears to be taking her time and leaving the door open to whatever comes next.
