Monica Garcia is so triggered by Lisa Barlow that she’s ready to throw away a trip to Bermuda, courtesy of Bravo. And it’s the first overseas cast trip that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had in a while. This is thanks to Jen Shah’s federal investigation.
But Lisa did make a statement about Monica that cut her to the core, suggesting that no one would want to be a mother to her. And what was a certain dislike between the two ladies became something deeper.
Sure, Lisa and her privilege rubbed Monica the wrong way. Perhaps resentment was brewing, but it certainly boiled over at Angie Katsanevas’ Greek Easter brunch. So how will this drama affect the group for the rest of the season? Well, the timely release of the mid-season trailer will offer some insight into the matter.
Something the duo can agree on
What happened as a result of Lisa’s lack of self-awareness is a heartwarming tale of two ladies coming together over a common enemy.
At one point in the preview, Monica is seen sitting in one of Mary Cosby’s Dr. Seuss chairs expressing disdain for the Vida Tequila founder.
“I feel like, Lisa, she gets nasty. That one,” Monica said to her co-star. Mary agreed with her.
It’s interesting that Mary is getting involved with this one. Bravo has had to tempt her with trips to McDonalds to get her to film anything with the rest of the RHOSLC ladies. Mary’s involvement in Season 4 now consists of having visitors to her quirky home to pretend they have anything in common.
Well, in the case of Monica, it seems the duo can agree on a mutual dislike of Lisa. Perhaps Mary will get more involved if she has a battle to fight. As for Monica, will she throw away an opportunity to see her family in Bermuda?
