No one is expecting healthy relationships to emerge from the fiasco that is the Winter House cast. Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula can be the sole exception, but not the rule. But otherwise, it’s a mess of reality TV stars trying to be the most laid-back about making meaningful connections.
After claiming to be in a “situationship” with Sam Feher during the Season 3 premiere, Kory Keefer left himself open to be pursued by other ladies of the house. But when Sam was called “trash” by Casey Craig, Kory came to his lady’s defense. It made an impact.
Now, on the most recent episode, Kory invited the Summer House star to Colorado to join him. That makes things a bit more official doesn’t it? In real time, the duo had been connected since filming Summer House Season 7 in 2022.
Kory Keefer and Sam Feher: He referenced the “crazy situations” on Winter House
During the November 28 episode of Winter House, Kory texted Sam, “Wish you were here. Would you want to come here for a couple of day?”
She answered, “Wait really? I would love that!”
So what brought on this change of heart? In a confessional interview, the Summer House star explained his thought process.
He said, “I miss Sam, so I want to invite her out. Seeing these crazy situations with everyone in the house, I think it makes me realize how good I have it with Sam right now.”
That’s an understandable statement. It seems the few couples that are making connections are taking on more strife than good times.
There’s Danielle Olivera, who claims to be ok with a casual hookup with Alex Propson, but is having difficulties with his flirtatious nature. Yet she continues to invite him back into her bed.
Tom Schwartz is stuck on the fact that his crush in the house has the same name as his ex-wife Katie Maloney. He’s smitten with Katie Flood, but is holding himself back from falling for the Below Deck Mediterranean alum.
So perhaps, given the surroundings, Kory does feel appreciative of Sam. Inviting her out to the Winter House is taking it one step forward for sure. Let’s see what happens when Sam squares up to the girls that were flirting with her man.
