The Vanderpump Cinematic Universe is about to expand with the upcoming Hulu show Vanderpump Villa. The woman at the center of it all, Lisa Vanderpump, is so excited about the new show that she’s using early 2000s slang to describe how good it is.
Lisa recently attended the Dancing with the Stars finale to support Ariana Madix. Since Hulu and ABC are both owned by Disney, they gave LVP airtime during the finale to dish on her upcoming series. She promised it’s going to be “off the hook.”
Will Vanderpump Villa be the next big thing?
“We just came back from filming in the South of France in a chateau, living with 12 of my staff and guests,” Lisa teased, before adding that it was “Chateau shenanigans.”
LVP added, “It was off the hook!”
Lisa is serving as an executive producer on Vanderpump Villa. It sounds like it’s going to be VPR meets Below Deck. The show follows the hand-picked staff at LVP’s luxury French villa as they live together and work to please the extravagant guests staying at the villa.
The show is also produced by Bunim/Murray, the masterminds behind The Real World. So, Lisa probably isn’t exaggerating when she says this show is about to be good.
Vanderpump Villa will be the third spinoff show for Lisa following her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She had the extremely short-lived Peacock show Vanderpump Dogs, along with the even shorter-lived E! series Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump. The latest series sounds like it could be her most promising series since Vanderpump Rules.
Right now, there’s no word on when Vanderpump Villa will premiere. We know it’s going to be 10 episodes and will air sometime in 2024 on Hulu. Keep your eyes peeled for more details.
