It was only a few weeks ago at BravoCon 2023 when Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta declared that her divorce from Marc Daly would be done and dusted before 2024 begins. It turns out she was right! She can now twirl away from the whole Marc mess. Their acrimonious divorce – which lasted just about as long as their actual marriage and had no prenup in place – has FINALLY been finalized!
Kenya’s ready to twirl on, leaving Marc in the divorce dust
Kenya and Mark walked down the aisle in June 2017. The two decided to part ways for the first time in September 2019. After a brief attempt at reconciliation in February 2020, Marc confirmed in January 2021 that their love train had derailed once again.
Kenya filed for divorce in May 2021, where she revealed that she’d been living in a “bonafide state of separation” since September 2019. And their marriage? Well, it was as over as a Marlo Hampton wig party after the KENYA! MOORE! HAIR! CARE! marching band came through.
Kenya gave a statement to PEOPLE about her newfound freedom.
“After more than three years of litigation, I have finally been granted a divorce. I want to thank everyone who prayed for and uplifted me when I needed it the most.”
Kenya continued, “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn [Daly].”
“As a hopeless romantic, I still believe my forever person exists and know I’ll have my happily ever after ending after all,” she concluded.
After seeing Kenya and Marc’s obviously wrong pairing and Kenya’s subsequent divorce struggles play out on RHOA, it’s nice to see that Kenya has emerged Gone With The Wind victorious!
There’s no word yet about when RHOA will return for Season 16, but you can stream last season on Peacock.
