Kim Zolciak has serious concerns about the current custody arrangements between her and Kroy Biermann. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum remains locked in a bitter divorce battle with the former NFL player, and some new problems about Kroy are coming to light.
According to her, those apparent issues about Kroy might make him unfit to have primary custody of their kids. She has brought those concerns to court in hopes of arranging an emergency hearing regarding her reservations.
Latest developments in the Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann custody case
Having Kroy around their kids so much is not an idea Kim is terribly fond of. She filed new legal documents obtained by TMZ that explain exactly why that is. Kim claims that the guardian put in place by the court for their four kids is recommending that Kroy undergo anger management therapy. She believes that some severe issues continue to arise under Kroy’s watch. Equally concerning is that he is reportedly not willing to share any info with Kim about the kids.
For months Kim and Kroy have been flinging accusations at one another. Previously, Kroy alleged that the RHOA alum “neglects” the kids. Kroy filed an emergency motion on that matter weeks ago, and TMZ reported that the judge sided with him, granting him primary physical custody of their four kids. It means Kim will have limited parenting time with the four minor children every other weekend.
Kim and Kroy share joint legal custody of the kids. That said, the former football player has the final say on educational, non-emergency medical, and religious decisions. Last month, Kim’s custody was limited but later reinstated after she completed court-ordered therapy.
For her part, Kim has said Kroy’s claims that she neglected the kids was a lie. At the same time, a female friend of Kroy’s allegedly told Kim via texts that Kroy “is abusive.”
