Dorit Kemsley has been open about her distance from Kyle Richards following the arrival of Morgan Wade. She said as much during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
Now, we’ve seen a little bit more of how Dorit feels during the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Not only does Dorit feel “replaced,” but she took a jab at her usual bestie, Kyle.
Here’s what Dorit had to say about Kyle and Morgan in RHOBH Season 13, Episode 9: “A Feisty Fiesta.”
Dorit feels replaced as Kyle’s friend by Morgan
“I can’t believe how good a friends you guys are,” Dorit said. “You are kind of morphing into one another; you’re morphing into her.”
“Much of who Kyle has become is a lot like who Morgan is. Where do I fit in in Kyle’s new life? Feels like I’ve been, not just excluded but maybe even replaced,” Dorit said during a confessional.
She had previously mentioned how concerned she was about only just hearing from Kyle about her upcoming projects.
“I feel like I’m an afterthought … I guess I have to put your initial on my body for you to actually care,” Dorit said to Kyle while sharing a car. “Kyle and I used to go away once or twice, even more, a year. Now, I’m not invited on any of Kyle’s trips,” she further explained in confessional.
“The reason I haven’t reached out to Dorit as much recently is because I really felt disappointed in her,” responded Kyle in her own confessional, referring to the RHOBH Season 12 reunion.
“In private, Dorit had been saying to me, ‘I feel so bad with what you’re going through with your sister.’ She was really supportive and on my side. And then when we were all together, it was a very different tune. That doesn’t feel like a friend to me.” Ouch. How does this always keep coming back around to Kathy Hilton?
Something tells me this isn’t the end of the fractures in Kyle and Dorit’s relationship. Lisa Vanderpump would probably call this, Karma with a capital K.
