Jen Shah Seemingly Sent Cease and Desist to Monica Garcia in March 2021

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 finale was wild. Never before has a Housewives installment gotten so meta, as Heather Gay revealed Monica Garcia was not who she said she was. She was exposed as being involved in the troll account Reality Von Tease.

Monica was the former assistant of Jen Shah who aided in her eventual arrest. After Jen was axed from the show, Monica took her place. Despite the grandeur of Heather’s Perry Mason moment in revealing Monica, Jen may have known the truth all along.

An alleged cease and desist, sent to Monica under her other name of Monica Fowler, has been revealed. Did Jen Shah send it?

Jen previously linked Monica to Reality Von Tease, allegedly sending a cease and desist

On January 3, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dana Wilkey posted a very interesting document on her IG page. The document was a message addressed to Koanui Johnson, Savannah Gonzales, and Monica Fowler – the Monica fans knew pre-RHOSLC. The firm that sent the document claimed to represent Jen and Sharrieff Shah.

The document’s text read, “Each of you has been involved in posting … certain content about the Shahs online, including on Instagram. This includes, but is not limited to, content posted on the account ‘realityvontease2.’” Alarm bells should be going off now. The document continued, saying certain content had been posted illegally.

The document went on, “I am advised that this video and audio was unlawfully acquired from the Shahs’ home security system, to which none of you had authorized access … I am also advised that additional posts on the previously-identified accounts, including comments from one or more of you, contain further false and defamatory comments regarding Ms. Shah.”

Did Bravo know about Monica’s past? Did Heather?

That’s where Dana’s preview ended, but she reportedly posted more on her Patreon, with documents even more incriminating than the above. Still, the above is quite damning and has several implications for what fans witnessed in the RHOSLC Season 4 finale.

As far as anyone knows, Monica was hired by Jen in 2021. Naturally, that begs the question, why did Jen hire her after this? Or, perhaps a more bizarre alternative, why wouldn’t she fire Monica for doing this? But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. As many Instagram commenters pointed out, if Monica was already linked to Reality Von Tease, who knew that beforehand?

Some believe that production must’ve known of Monica’s involvement in the IG page, at least on some level. For that matter, Heather might’ve known as well. Fans on IG posited that perhaps Heather did have a hunch, but was waiting for full confirmation. Others speculated that this whole thing was staged from the very beginning. But producers have said they didn’t have a clue.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion begins airing Tuesday, January 9, at 8/7c on Bravo.

TELL US – WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THE CEASE AND DESIST? DO YOU THINK THIS WAS ALL A SET-UP BY PRODUCTION?
