It isn’t too hard to see that Christine Brown is much happier in her new life, married to David Woolley. However, the Sister Wives star is still trying to stick it to the patriarch who hurt her for so long. Kody Brown and Christine did not have the best relationship as he often chose to hang out with his fourth and favorite wife, Robyn Brown. Naturally, Christine felt neglected, holding onto this feeling for ten years. So it stands to reason that now that Christine is living her best life, she is going to want to rub it in Kody’s whiney face. These are the signs that Christine Brown wants to make Kody jealous.
The Nacho Post
With a little help from David, Christine has mastered the revenge post on social media. Besides posting nonstop loved-up photos of her new life with David, the mother of six has also taken to shaming Kody for years of verbal abuse. In a passage from the family book Becoming Sister Wives, Kody revealed he was appalled by “Chubby” Christine’s eating habits. “When we set out on our road trip, I was convinced that Christine was the cutest girl in the world, although she was a little chubby,” he said. “Back then, I was young and superficial enough to care about physical appearances.”
Kody went further, recalling, “Christine went into the Quickie Mart and bought herself what seemed like the largest portion of chili chees nachos that I’d ever seen. The sight of those nachos turned my stomach. She must have been starving because she was eating so quickly, and there was chili sauce and nacho cheese everywhere.”
Making sure to get the last laugh, Christine posted a date night out with David, and they devoured nachos, captioning the moment by writing, “love eating nachos with you, My Queen!”
Lap Dance
In the trailer for Christine’s two-part wedding special, cameras caught the newlywed happily giving her new husband a lap dance while in her wedding dress on the dance floor. Now, I am all for poking fun at Kody, but a PDA display like this may just be too much. However, Christine has jumped over the line and isn’t looking back.
It is safe to assume that Kody was never given nor probably wanted a sexy public dance from his third wife. It could also be argued that Christine was perhaps forced to shut down her sexuality when she was married to Kody in order to be the perfect sister wife. The video showed both David and Christine laughing, so it looks like the groom enjoyed his little treat. I’m sure Kody will watch through his fingers and cringe at every minute.
Christine Has an Easier Life
During the last season, Kody had a realization while throwing a tantrum about Christine divorcing him. The father of 18 cried, “My emotions feel so pathetic that I’m frustrated by it. Plural marriage isn’t easy, and on a bad day, you can feel trapped in it. And she’s getting out of the lobster bucket. I’m in this really hard lifestyle partly because of her, and it’s been very hard partly because of her, and she’s just leaving now.”
A major bonus of Christine leaving is it has caused Kody to reflect on the polygamous lifestyle. Kody is clearly jealous that Christine was able to walk away because he can’t, as he is the husband and head of the household. Kody’s green-eyed monster is coming out because his third wife can now do anything she wants. She doesn’t have to answer to multiple people or make group decisions.
Christine Still Has a Family Bond
Perhaps the most frustrating thing for Kody that often gets rubbed in his face by Christine is her consistent bond with not only their shared children but his children with Janelle Brown. Kody is currently on the outs with most of these people, which has included silent treatment and not being allowed in their lives. But Christine often shares updates about hanging out with all of the children.
It can’t be fun to be left out in the cold, but in Christine’s opinion, the patriarch has earned every second of his frostbite. With Christine being blissfully happy, there is no real reason for her to keep tormenting Kody. Really, now the posts and snarky comments have become a sport for the mother of six.
