Signs That Mauricio Umansky Is Having a Midlife Crisis

Mauricio Umansky, one of the best husbands on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, always seemed pretty put together. He thrived within his own business, pushing the limits of real estate while doting on his wife, Kyle Richards, and being a father. But after rumors of a divorce started to spread, good ‘ol Mo started acting out and contradicting who every fan thought he was.

Recently, Mo was linked with his Dancing With the Stars dance pro, Emma Slater. Now, more and more of us are starting to wonder if Mauricio Umansky is having a midlife crisis. Over the weeks spent together, the two were spotted getting very close, and the tango for two didn’t seem to include Kyle. While there were often reports of hand-holding, kissing, and clubbing, Mo seemed steadfast in his belief that he was just having a little fun.

But somewhere along the lines, free-living seemed to turn into a pattern that looked very much like a mid-life crisis. What does the man have to be unhappy about? He’s rich, not too bad-looking, and lives a life most of us would dream of. Could his marriage woes really be contributing to his Benjamin Button actions?

Mo the Party Animal

I can’t imagine what it must be like to have these rich people’s problems, but Lord, I would like to try. Mauricio was recently spotted partying in Aspen without his wife. Instead, he was hanging all over two young girls who honestly could have been his daughter’s age. Picture it: Aspen, 2023, a 51-year-old possibly newly single man, enters a bar and acts like he is 22. As Brazilian singer, Anitta, twerked around him, the camera focused on a spinning-out Mo. He even had his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

The backwards yellow cap didn’t help as sweat dripped down his bare chest. After all, why not go topless when you are in Colorado, and the average temperature is 19 degrees? God, I am cringing for him as I rewatch this video like it’s Henry Cavill in the bathtub scene of The Witcher. (If you know, you know.) As men poured champagne on Anitta, it looked very much like Mo was trying to relive his youth. I felt like Mo was in the same bar for eight days straight. Someone get this man some water and a t-shirt!

Mo Is in His Greek Life Era

Between the yuppy golf outings and half-naked ski trips, I could be tricked into believing that Mauricio is actually in the middle of pledging a frat. My guess would be Sigma Alpha Mu, as they have the most billionaires for brothers. A recent Instagram Story showed the father of four hanging out with his younger, cooler workers at The Agency. There Mo stood in the middle, again half naked, looking like he was posing for a Bud Light commercial. I can’t even.

Whether or not Mo and Kyle are feeding into the hype, Mauricio seems focused on reliving his 20s. The lame attempt at trying to recapture his youth is so cringey. I can’t figure out why he feels he is the next People’s Sexiest Man Alive. Next, we will see him driving a red sports car and getting hair plugs to prove he isn’t aging—such a cliché.

I Can Smell the Desperation

Between the sticky sauna-like bar and the musky half-naked people, you can practiclly smell the life Mo has been trying to lead. A mid-life crisis like Mo might be having is often centered around their achievements or around regret about not taking action. Even though Mo doesn’t seem to be dissatisfied with his married life to Kyle, his behavior is screaming the opposite.

Yes, Kyle is also morphing into her own version of a 20-year-old, thanks to her crush on Morgan Wade, but I expected better from Mo. Firstly, all those years of throwing parties should have taught Mo that you drink champagne, not wear it. Frankly, Mauricio looks just as uncomfortable as I feel. C’mon, man, you’re better than this and a little more sophisticated.
