Most Real Housewives are desperate to have the first seat next to Andy Cohen at their reunions. Dr. Nicole Martin from The Real Housewives of Miami isn’t like most Housewives. She doesn’t want to be anywhere near Andy.
Having the first seat at the reunion usually means you were involved in the most mess that season. That’s not always a good thing, and it sounds like Dr. Nicole recognizes that. At the Season 5 reunion, she had the first seat. She didn’t want to relive that experience for their latest sitdown. Ahead of the Season 6 reunion, Nicole revealed why she isn’t interested in the first seat. She’s cool with being as far away from the hot seat as possible. Fortunately for her, she’s getting her wish.
She’s not a fan of the hot seat
“I hope I’m seated next to Guerdy [Abraira],” Dr. Nicole told Page Six ahead of the Season 6 reunion. “I just think we’re very good friends, and I think we provide good support for one another.”
Despite the first seat being such a coveted spot, Nicole shared that she prefers to be at the end of the couch. Despite what her castmates think, she doesn’t want to be at the center of any drama. She said she doesn’t like being in the “thick of things.”
Nicole quipped, “I don’t want to be seated anywhere near Andy.” She continued, “I don’t like being in the hot seat. You know, I think a lot of Housewives take pride in that they’re seated next to Andy, like put me at the end.”
Bravo recently dropped the seating chart for the Season 6 RHOM reunion, and some of Dr. Nicole’s wishes came true. Unfortunately, she isn’t sitting next to Guerdy as she had hoped, but she’s also not sitting anywhere near Andy.
They seated Nicole at the end of the couch, just like she wanted. However, that’s probably not going to stop the drama from making its way down to her. If anything, this probably just means she’s going to have to yell louder.
