Robyn Dixon Reveals Why She and Husband Juan Aren’t in Couples Therapy

For years, Juan Dixon and Robyn Dixon’s relationship has been a source of confusion in Potomac and beyond. When they finally got remarried during the Season 7 finale of The Real Housewives of Potomac, it seemed like things were finally settling down. Boy, were we wrong.

Doubling down with the Dixons

Since tying the knot again, Juan has been spotted running around in hotels and laundromats with women who aren’t Robyn. On top of that, he lost his coaching job. Robyn claims that she doesn’t care about any of this, but that’s questionable.

The Dixons seem to be back in a rough patch, and in Season 8 of RHOP, the women have felt determined to get Robyn to open up about her relationship. They don’t want to hear about it on the Reasonably Shady Patreon. They want it on Real Housewives.

On Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8, Episode 11, Robyn and Mia Thornton went to a salt therapy session together, and they bonded over their unusual relationship dynamics. Earlier in the season, the cameras followed Mia and Gordon Thornton to a couples therapy session. So, Mia asked Robyn if that was something she’d considered with Juan. Robyn’s answer was pretty surprising.

Who needs therapy anyway?

When asked about couples therapy, Robyn replied, “We’re not in therapy, no.”

“At all?” Mia responded in disbelief. “Not even with everything that’s going on?”

Robyn reiterated that she and Juan haven’t sought professional help for their issues. Although we’ve seen Juan scream at her over the phone numerous times on the show, Robyn doesn’t think that there’s a problem to address in therapy.

Responding to Mia, Robyn said, “Um, no, I really think — our issues are not with each other.” She continued, “Like, our issues are more just like, ‘OK, let’s just enjoy life more.'”

With Juan’s unemployed status, Robyn clarified that the two of them have been able to focus on the things they need. He’s been spending more quality time with the family, and it seems like they’re hopeful things will work out with time, without the help of a therapist. We’re rooting for them.

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac air Sunday nights on Bravo at 8/7c.
