Rachel Leviss Reflects on Decision To Quit Pump Rules After Season 11 Premiere

Vanderpump Rules alum Rachel Leviss decided not to film Season 11 of the show. Instead, she went the podcast route, launching Rachel Goes Rogue. Now she can spill the tea and comment on her former co-stars’ behavior without actually dealing with them. Perfect! And now that Season 11 of Pump Rules has premiered, Rachel made sure to catch it.

One person she cut out of her life was her affair worm with a mustache partner, Tom Sandoval. Rachel recently shared all the ways that Sandoval manipulated her. That includes allegedly “filming [her] without [her] consent.” Ariana Madix saw that video on her then-boyfriend’s phone and dumped him. Why wasn’t Sandoval held accountable for filming Rachel without her consent?

Did Rachel make the right decision to quit Pump Rules?

Rachel discussed watching the Season 11 premiere on a recent episode of her podcast. “I am watching this show and I’m really having to accept the fact that I’m not on it this season. That was a decision that I really had a lot of weight in making,” Rachel explained. “I didn’t take that lightly, and so it’s almost like a part of me [is] grieving what could have been in a different parallel timeline. But I do think [of] that I made the right decision by not going back.”

Although she does have “a little FOMO” about not filming, Rachel is content with her decision. “When I watch it, I’m just happy that I’m not in it,” she said. “I’m so happy that I’ve been able to find more peace in my life and my day-to-day is stable and as serene as it could be in this stage in my life, I believe.”

Rachel added, “… I do worry about things that are going to come up this season, but I’m just happy that I’m not in it.”

She also wasn’t pleased with some of Sandoval’s recent comments about their relationship. “The way he was describing it really made it sound like I was the temptress and that it was this seduction that he fell into,” Rachel remarked. “But it just felt like he was putting a lot on me, saying it was my fault for seducing him, which I don’t think is right.” AMEN.

Ultimately, Rachel had to prioritize her mental health and her well-being. And I think she made the right decision to exit Pump Rules. I’m sure we will hear more from her as the season goes on.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
