Phaedra Parks Considered The Traitors ‘Rugged for a Housewife’

For Phaedra Parks, coming onto The Traitors was a big jump — but she did it.

The former Real Housewives star has been killing it (literally) in Season 2 of Peacock’s series, The Traitors. Phaedra, of course, is one of the three Traitors (the others are Dan Gheesling and Parvati Shallow) attempting to make it to the end without being discovered by winning physical competitions and using unmatched strategy.

Although the lawyer and mother of two wasn’t worried about playing a calculated game, she was, however, worried about her glam while away in Scotland. “Everybody did not believe my lashes would hold up. We’re very used to glam squads and room service, living very fabulous, and a lot of extra nice things. And this is a little more primitive,” she told People.

Phaedra says Housewives is the “perfect training” for The Traitors

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra was used to fancy dinners, valet, and expensive trips overseas. In other words, “we are used to people having a lot of helpers,” Phae said. But, while filming The Traitors, “we have to help ourselves.”

She warned fellow Housewives, adding that if you’re not much of an independent, “this would not be the show” for you. “It’s not Survivor, but it’s rugged for a Housewife.”

Phaedra’s fellow RHOA star and Traitors castmate, Shereé Whitfield, also spoke about her glam, adding the weather made it challenging for her to find outfits she loved.

“It is cold here. It’s not cold in Atlanta,” she said. “I couldn’t find a lot of warm pieces, so I did quite a bit of shopping and just really put some pieces together that I probably have to layer. But I’m definitely going to give you fashion, honey.”

So far, Shereé and Phaedra have made it to Episode 6 without being murdered or banished. So, here’s to hoping they have much more life left in the game to show off their lashes, hair, and fashions galore!

The Traitors continues on Thursdays, with new episodes streaming on Peacock from 9/8c.
