Porsha Williams Guobadia Officially Returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta

It’s officially official! Porsha Williams, I mean, Porsha Williams Guobadia, is returning for Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta

The reality star announced her grand return in an Instagram post on February 13, saying, “Who said that? Porsha Williams coming back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta? That’s false, but Porsha Guobadia is in the building. See ya.” She captioned the post, “Season 16. Let’s Goooo. RHOA. All y’all READY!?”

Porsha first departed RHOA after facing off against Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton over the BOLO allegations during Season 13. Following that, she teased her potential return over time, but today, we have something to celebrate!

What else is in store for Porsha?

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” Porsha said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and showing the world my new world!”

Since taking a break from Atlanta, Porsha has worked on other projects, including Season 3 of Ultimate Girls Trip and Stars on Mars

Porsha’s big return to NBC will include more than unscripted work, though. The Pampered By Porsha owner also signed an overall scripted talent deal with the entertainment giant, which will see Porsha in different projects across NBC’s “broadcast and streaming properties.”

“Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate, and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership,” Rachel Smith, an NBC executive, said about Porsha’s homecoming. “Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously, and vulnerably shared her life over the years, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family.”

Fans have been eagerly awaiting more casting news regarding Season 16 of Atlanta following a few subpar seasons. Porsha’s return is the second casting confirmation from Atlanta since Kandi Burruss’ exit announcement during the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Kenya has also continued to tease that more news regarding her status would come soon from Bravo.
