Now that Season 3 of The Traitors is in the works at Peacock, Janelle Pierzina has some thoughts about which OG Big Brother players she’d like to see return to her TV screen.
“Britney Haynes [is] obviously top of my list,” she said on the Drop Your Buffs podcast. “[She’s] great TV. Another woman … Danielle Reyes [would] be wonderful. Will Kirby, I know he’s been asked before, and it just never works out with his schedule; I would love to see him. He’d be so fascinating to watch as a Traitor.”
Janelle joined Season 2 of streaming’s most-watched unscripted series alongside another CBS legend, Dan Gheesling, who was one of the titular Traitors until his banishment during Episode 6. The former BB winner fell victim to Phaedra Park’s lethal tongue after attempting to frame her during the night’s roundtable discussion. Since then, some watchers have slammed the reality star, claiming he’s losing his charm. So, what did Janelle think of his gameplay?
Janelle wishes Dan would’ve spoken more while filming The Traitors
“I feel like Dan was holding back too much,” Janelle revealed. “Maybe he should’ve, even if it’s a name like John or Bergie, like, throw a name out there. … He would never talk, so I think that’s my biggest criticism of Dan.”
Later in her conversation, Janelle spoke more about Dan’s strategy, saying if he had made a move earlier, he might’ve still had a fighting chance.
“I trust Dan’s perception in these games. If he would’ve said, ‘I think that Phaedra is a Traitor,’ I would’ve been like, ‘Really?’ Like, if Dan is telling me that, I would’ve brought that back to Peter and John. … That was another mistake of his. He should’ve went for Phaedra a day before he did.”
“Traitors is a different game. You have to move faster; you have to make moves. I begged him to give me a name, [and] he was like, ‘I can’t.'”
In a separate interview, Dan spoke about playing a game like The Traitors with Bravo stars, adding he underestimated their skills.
“Their familiarity with conflict is out of this world, so they can create situations to create conflict and chaos, and they can get themselves out, which is a huge part of these games.”
