It seems that crossover fandom between reality TV cast and Hollywood stars is more common than not. Summer House star Carl Radke hitched a ride back to NYC with Chrissy Teigen and her husband, John Legend, from the Sundance Film Festival recently. The model is a superfan of the hit Bravo reality TV show, and offered Carl a seat on her private jet in order to spend some time chatting.
Now, Below Deck Sailing Yacht favorite, Daisy Kelliher, is revealing a surprise friendship with award winning actress, Christina Applegate. Though in this case, the two have never met in person.
Daisy calls it a “surreal” connection
The Married … with Children star is a self-proclaimed “Uber weirdo fan” of the Below Deck franchise. And Daisy exclusively told Dailymail.com that Christina reached out to her on social media.
The chief stew labeled her friendship with the Hollywood star as a “huge support.” They’ve discussed Christina’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis, among many topics, over FaceTime.
Is the Irish native starstruck? She did call the friendship “surreal.” When asked how being a Bravolebrity has changed her life, Daisy replied, “It hasn’t changed dramatically, but there has been small things and I’ve definitely had celebrities reach out to me, which is very surreal.”
“I’ve had Christina Applegate. She’s a huge Bravo fan, and she reached out to me via Instagram, and was massively supportive. She said, ‘Hey Daisy’, and we FaceTime and stuff – she’s just so nice,” she added.
Christina and Daisy haven’t met in person, but their connection is strong regardless. It all started when the mother-of-one reached out to the yachtie.
“She was just a huge support with so much going on, and we just talked about everything,” Daisy stated.
“We talked about what she was going through because obviously she’s sick with MS, so we were talking about what she’s going through and about what I was going through, and honestly, we talked [to each other] like two friends,” Daisy said of their conversations.
However, the reality TV star hopes to meet her famous friend in person one day.
“Hopefully we’ll meet up,” Daisy concluded. “She lives in Los Angeles and I’m in Los Angeles all the time, but she’s busy with her family and I know she is taking it easy, and keeping all of her energy for her MS, but hopefully we’ll make time.”
