You better get that EpiPen ready. Or maybe not, since Love Is Blind star Jimmy Presnell said his airwaves did not, in fact, close upon meeting Jessica Vestal in person.
“No, I did not need the EpiPen,” Jimmy told Us Weekly shortly after the February 28 drop of episodes. “When I saw Jess for the first time, I was excited to see her. But let’s quit making this about looks, right?” I mean, you’re the one who blasted your partner in your confessional for claiming she looked like Megan Fox. But sure, let’s stop talking about looks, shall we?
Jessica’s statements sent watchers into a frenzy when she laid into him during their breakup earlier in the season. “When you see and realize what you missed out on, you are going to choke,” she told him. “You are going to need your EpiPen to open up your airways because you are going to be in disbelief of what you missed out on.”
Old feelings reemerged when Jimmy saw Jessica, but he’s happy with his choice to marry Chelsea
During the latest two episodes released on Netflix, many of the exes showed up to a lake party with the engaged couples. Trevor Sova connected with Chelsea Blackwell, and Jimmy and Jess were able to chat on their own.
“I will say the way she was looking at me and the way she was talking to me, it definitely brought back some old feelings,” Jimmy said about their conversation. “And I think we’re blowing the comment about, you’re my No. 1 out of the water just a bit. I was only level setting with her, letting her know that the day before proposal day, she was my No. 1 one going into that day.”
Speaking of his No. 1 comment, Jess revealed she didn’t believe he intended to be messy — no matter what the editors lead us to believe.
“I’m not sure the context that that was said in, but I will say he did conduct himself well and respectfully [at] the lake party,” she said.
