The Traitors Season 2 Reunion: Dan Gheesling ‘Shaking’ Before Phaedra Parks Confrontation

The Traitors Season 2 reunion will now stream this Thursday immediately following the season finale.

Andy Cohen, who hosted the star-studded sit-down, spilled some tea regarding the “epic” showdown on his radio show, Andy Cohen Live. “Both the epic finale and dramatic reunion of The Traitors will be streaming this Thursday on Peacock at 9:00 PM,” he said.

The Watch What Happens Live host continued, teasing that what’s left of the series is non-stop drama and unsuspecting twists. “… at the reunion taping, we began the reunion with all of the faithfuls out there and the Traitors that were no longer in the show. Okay? … None of them had seen the finale. They had all seen the first, I think, 45 minutes of the finale. We sat there together and showed them the last 20 minutes so they could all see how it all played out and get their immediate reactions to that, which is really exciting.”

Andy Cohen said Dan Gheesling was really nervous before the reunion taping

By now, everybody knew that Phaedra Parks and Dan Gheesling would face off during the reunion. In case you missed it, both of the reality stars were selected by Alan Cumming as Traitors. After the Faithful started sussing Dan out, he threw Phaedra under the bus in a foolish attempt to save himself.

Although he was unsuccessful and ultimately banished during the roundtable discussion, Phaedra was understandably furious with him. “You pull that shenanigans?” she stated in her confessional. Since then, she’s thrown a little shade towards Dan. Well, a lot of shade, actually.

Later in the conversation, Andy revealed that when he ran into Dan backstage, the Big Brother winner was so nervous it was like he’d seen a “ghost.”

“I went up to Dan. He looked at me. He looked like he had seen a ghost, and I’m telling you, I think he was shaking a little bit, and he goes, ‘Andy, I’m seeing you. I’m seeing that this is a reunion.’ He’s like, ‘This is…,'” he stated.

“I said, ‘Dan, it is gonna be okay.’ Now, you will see whether it was okay for Dan because this was the first time Dan and Phaedra confronted each other since the show, so you will see how that goes down, but I was like, ‘It’s gonna be okay, man.'”

In an earlier interview, Phaedra said she was looking forward to seeing Dan at the reunion so that she could relay a few “choice words.”

“Oh, honey. I have some choice words. I might have to repent afterward,” she said.

Stream The Traitors Season 2 finale and reunion on Thursday at 9/8c on Peacock.
