We’re back for round two of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 reunion, where we’re covering bankruptcies, behind-the-scenes fights, and more adultery accusations than you can wrap your head around.
When we last left off, K. Michelle had owned up to some of her conspiratorial behavior and was finally finding her footing in the Housewives universe. The episode ended just as they were getting ready to dive into what caused the off-camera rift between her and Shamea.
In The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 Episode 19, “Reunion Part Two,” they opened up that can of worms and then some.
What happened on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 Episode 19?

In Part 2 of the Season 17 reunion, Cynthia joined the ladies on stage, asking the age-old question: “Now what else is going on?” Turns out — a lot is going on.
Shamea and K. Michelle had another off-camera fight, which, depending on who you ask, almost turned physical. We also learned about an unaired feud between Pinky and Phaedra that allegedly had “higher-ups” involved.
Meanwhile, Porsha planned a lie detector test to try to prove once and for all that Kelli slept with a married man. A lot is going on.
Did things get physical between Shamea and K. Michelle?

During Part 2 of the reunion, we dove further into that nightmare of a night on the town with K. Michelle, Shamea, and Mama Morton. According to K. Michelle, not only was Shamea whispering about how no one wanted them to be friends, but Mama Morton also allegedly called Porsha a “jezebel.” Add that to the growing list of reasons why their friendship is deader than dead.
Shamea said the jezebel comment never happened. K was adamant that it did. We may never know the full truth. But what we do know is that bad things keep happening between these two women when the cameras aren’t rolling.
In the days leading up to the reunion, they went out to dinner and apparently got in another huge fight over some of the events that unfolded in Season 17. Shamea said things got so tense that K almost got physical with her.
K. Michelle didn’t exactly own up to that piece, so the jury is still out on what really happened. Either way, it only added to the weird frenemy energy between these two. Let’s just hope that when their next blowup happens, there’s a camera rolling.
The ladies had thoughts about Pinky’s bankruptcy

Before we ever saw a single second of Pinky on RHOA, the headlines had already broken that she filed for bankruptcy. And before the ink was even dry on those court papers, she jumped online, dressed like Ms. Rachel, to explain to the world why bankruptcy was actually a smart business tool and nothing to be ashamed of.
While that might be somewhat true, everyone on Porsha’s couch had some serious thoughts about her approach. Phaedra was the first to make her feelings known. After 19 episodes, she’s finally activated, folks!
Phaedra pointed out that Pinky’s business had lots of Black investors, and that speaking so casually about losing their money felt wrong. She thought Pinky was being too callous.
Naturally, Pinky fired back, clarifying that she also lost white people’s money. She’s an equal opportunity money burner and refused to back down or apologize for her approach.
Although the bankruptcy conversation finally got Phaedra talking, and delivering some hilarious one-liners like her “radioactive burger” dig, we learned that there’s much more to the tension between these two than just different opinions on Chapter 11.
Pinky and Phaedra revealed their off-screen beef

Phaedra and Pinky were taking jabs at each other in the first few episodes of this season. Pinky famously said Phaedra was down at the morgue “eating dead people” after hearing a false rumor about Phaedra accusing her of being a fake vegan. As hilarious as that subplot was, we learned at the reunion that even more things were unfolding off camera.
Apparently, Phaedra went to the “higher-ups” and tried to get Pink6 in trouble over something she said that Phaedra interpreted as a safety concern. The women were painfully vague about what exactly happened, but when you read between the lines, it almost sounded like we were teetering back into Brit Eady territory. Pinky said it involved a “significant device.”
Whatever happened, Pinky didn’t take kindly to Phaedra tattling on her, and they’ve had some tension simmering between them ever since.
Learning about their behind the scenes feud felt like helpful context, but when they’re this vague, it opens the door to more questions. We’re dying to know what Pinky actually said that had Phaedra so frazzled. What was the “significant device?”
Andy insisted that it wasn’t that deep, and for now, they agreed to move past it. At least one beef got squashed during Part Two.
Angela and Shamea still couldn’t get on the same page

Phaedra and Pinky agreed to move on from their feud. The same couldn’t really be said about Angela and Shamea. Theirs just kept getting messier.
Multiple times this season, we heard Angela accuse Shamea of sleeping with everyone but her husband. The Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Falcons, the lawyer with the green beard — basically all of Atlanta. During Part Two, Andy tried to drill down on where exactly this bad energy started. The answer, it turns out, goes all the way back to Season 16.
Shamea still blames Angela for meddling in her friendship with Porsha. Meanwhile, Angela felt like Shamea had been making digs about Charles and his alleged infidelity. From there, their feud has now spiraled so far out of control that Shamea had to send legal papers to quiet the noise.
At the reunion, Shamea offered up another one of her world-famous apologies to Angela for ever bringing Charles into it. Angela followed up with a string of words that were supposed to resemble an apology, all while doubling down that a reliable source told her this tea about Shamea’s sex life.
These flimsy apologies aren’t going to carry them very far, and if they’re both back for Season 18, expect even more finger-pointing from both sides. This is far from over.
Porsha took a very unnecessary lie detector test

We saw Pinky take a lie detector test with Maury this season, and Porsha clearly took some inspiration. During the reunion, she revealed that she too had taken a lie detector test to prove she was telling the truth about Kelli’s allegedly wild BET weekend. Yes, another segment dedicated to who did or didn’t sleep with someone.
Porsha took the lie detector test off camera and received the results at the reunion via FaceTime. Unsurprisingly, the results went in her favor, supposedly verifying her story about having firsthand knowledge of Kelli’s adulterous interaction with a pastor.
In any other season, this would have been a solid gag, but unfortunately, this reveal changed absolutely nothing. They still aren’t naming names, and at this point, we’ve heard so many baseless rumors about who is sleeping with who that it’s starting to feel less like Housewives and more like The Double Lives of Suburban Wives. It’s exhausting to watch, and probably even more exhausting to live through. But Kelli showed up ready to argue with Porsha over every detail.
Whether or not anyone cared about this questionable lie detector test is up for debate. But one thing became crystal clear at the end of Part 2: Kelli and Porsha’s midseason truce has completely crumbled.
Andy asked Porsha where they’ll go next from here, and according to Porsha? Straight to hell. As if things couldn’t get any lower.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17 reunion concludes next Sunday at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream the uncensored and extended cut the next day on Peacock.
