The Valley’s Nia Booko Says She Had To Defend Herself Against ‘Creepy’ Donald Trump Associates

Nia Booko has already shown watchers she’s not the one to play with on The Valley

The reality star set the record straight with Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright during the second episode of Season 1. After Jax pulled Nia’s husband, Danny Booko’s, pants down at a pool party, exposing him to the world, she voiced her frustrations over the moment.

After shedding a few tears, Brittany tried to offer comfort, explaining that Jax didn’t mean any harm but seemed to irritate the former Miss USA even further. “I love Brittany, but she was also just making all the excuses,” Nia told her husband, Danny. “Like why?” she asked.

Later in the episode, Nia revealed that when she’s not practicing her runway walk, she’s taking people down during her Taekwondo training. Nia, who first won Miss Nevada USA in 2014, revealed she’s been fighting since eight years old and even earned a fourth-degree black belt.

The beauty had to use her skills during the Miss Universe competition in 2014, as well. “When I was competing for Miss Universe, Donald Trump brought in all his creepy, older, wealthy friends [to] watch us rehearse,” Nia told producers during her confessional. “And one of them grabbed me by the waist and pulled me in, and I grabbed his hand and twisted it around.”

She continued, saying, “I was like, ‘You can never touch me again, thank you very much. I’m a black belt, and if you try that again, you’re going to be hurt.'”

It’s still too early in the season to know whether Nia will have to use her powerhouse moves on any of her cast mates. If she does, you know we’ll be talking about it.

The Valley continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c.
