David Beador Facing Reckless Driving Charges

Someone’s been watching a few too many Fast & Furious movies, and that someone is David Beador, who’s facing reckless driving charges. For his part, David is choosing to deny.

The ex-husband of Shannon Beador is caught up in some legal trouble. Radar Online reported all of the details, and unlike Shannon’s recent run-in with the law, David’s incident didn’t involve alcohol. Still, he’s on the hook for a misdemeanor after getting busted doing some alleged dangerous driving.

David’s wild ride

According to the cops, David was driving his 2022 Porsche 911 in Newport Coast when they clocked him going 119 MPH in a 60 MPH zone. This all happened at 9:15 a.m.

You have to wonder why in the world he was supposedly going that fast so early in the morning. Was he late for a meeting? Was he trying to get to McDonald’s before they stopped serving breakfast? Wherever he was headed, the cops stopped him in his tracks.

The Orange County District Attorney ultimately charged him with one misdemeanor count of reckless driving and an infraction for “unlawfully driving a vehicle at a speed greater than 100 miles per hour.”

David attended a hearing and pleaded not guilty. He has another hearing next month, where he’ll likely get slapped with some fines if found guilty. Although it’s possible to do a little jail time over reckless driving, it’s unlikely David will spend any time behind bars.

Of course, this news comes just a few months after his ex-wife had her own run-in with the law. Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon crashed her car into a building, tried to flee the scene, and then ended up with a DUI.

The drama all happened to go down on the anniversary of her marriage to David. She avoided time behind bars, but she is on probation for three years. Still, it was a harrowing experience that could have been catastrophic.

Shannon and David have been divorced since 2017, but clearly, they still have a lot in common with these recent driving disasters. Perhaps they should both probably stick to taking Ubers. That would probably be safest for everyone.
