Porsha Williams Accuses Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia of Using the Media Amid Divorce Battle

Porsha Williams went from asking “who said that” on Real Housewives of Atlanta, to begging her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, to say no more. As their divorce battle rages on, Porsha wants every bit of their messy proceedings handled privately. Yet, after filing several wild accusations, receipts have surfaced, showing that Simon’s moving in the opposite direction of Porsha’s wishes. According to Porsha’s attorney, Simon’s using “superfluous media antics,” to help tarnish Porsha’s name in the court of public opinion.

Simon’s “superfluous media antics”

When will people learn that the internet lives on forever? Seriously, anything written can, and likely will, come back and bite you in your sweet little Georgia peach. Case in point, an anonymous blogger just shared a screenshot of their random DM drop-in from Simon. In this, Simon writes “I have new court filings to share. Send me an email.”

Shutting Simon down, this blogger shortly replied “Hello. No thank you Mr. Guobadia.” Following this, Porsha’s sister Lauren reposted this exchange, adding “like I said…. Actively trying to create a false narrative! Smh” As for what Simon’s said in his filings, well, it’s a lot.

To start, Simon’s claiming that Porsha brought a “gunman” into their Georgia home. Porsha cleared this up in her latest filing though, as her attorney explained “The parties have always had personal security.” However, Simon’s also said that Porsha tampered with evidence, and that “third parties” are harassing him on the regular, thanks to Porsha.

Porsha hits back

Through a statement given to Page Six, Porsha’s attorney, Randall M. Kessler writes “Our client, Porsha Williams, is making a conscious effort not to respond to every superfluous document Simon Iyore Guobadia, aka, Iyore Guobadia, releases to the press.” Furthermore, on Simon’s usage of the media, Porsha’s attorney notes that “Mr. Guobadia’s decision to repeatedly distribute his legal filings and letters to the press prior to sending us a copy, as is standard protocol, should be a matter for the court to deal with, and we are asking the court to do so.”

Moving forward, Porsha’s attorney notes that “Any other filings, inter-office correspondences, or media antics from the opposing party will be disregarded and used legally as much as possible, to further bolster her position.” Insert an annoyed Porsha, quipping “Wrong roaddddd” in Simon’s general direction.

Past seasons of Real Housewives of Atlanta are currently streaming on Peacock.
