Tom Schwartz is still out there, living for himself. During his marriage to Katie Maloney, her feelings always came last. Tom also enjoyed riding on life’s slip-n-slide, landing himself into pools of other women. Now a divorcee, we just met Jo Wenberg, aka his roommate with benefits, this season on Vanderpump Rules, but this match is also now DOA.
Here’s what I hate. After Tom decided to kiss randoms in Jo’s presence, she revealed that they’d been sleeping together. She also stated that they had used the “love” word in private. When she later asked Tom if he was embarrassed by her, my heart broke for the girl, but as for Tom, he’s got zero regrets.
Aw shucks, it’s fine
On the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Tom explained that when the cameras were down, he and Jo were hot and heavy. However, by the time that filming began for Season 11, things had already “kinda fizzled out” between the pair. Thinking that they “were on the same page,” Tom kissed another woman at singles night, which saw Jo leaving, upset.
When asked what his relationship with Jo was like today, Tom said “We’re super cool.” He further explained “It’s a significantly watered-down version of what it used to be. We text niceties, formalities, but [we’re] still friends. I think she’s hanging out with somebody. I’m hanging out with somebody.”
Tom ended by saying “There’s definitely no bad blood or hard feelings, but, I don’t regret it. It was super fun … I think we really enriched each other’s lives for that stretch.” Hear me out buddy, as I know that you’re fine with it all, but I don’t think that Jo is on the “same page.” She might’ve moved on, but you for sure could have handled things better.
Also, your hair. You can’t tell me that Jo didn’t bleach your mop, leaving you looking like a middle-aged, Marlboro Lights chain-smoking auntie for your benefit. In my opinion, Jo got the last laugh, changing your image for your future dates with other women, with you now presenting as a Season 1 Kate Gosselin.
