Stassi Schroeder Announces Her New Book: ‘Basically My Diary’

Despite her firing from Vanderpump Rules in 2020, Stassi Schroeder’s still out there, banking on her Bravo fame. In 2019, she wrote her first book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook. Her fans quickly rushed out to buy her work in droves, turning Stassi into a New York Times bestselling author almost overnight. Then, in 2022, she penned Off with My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom, which touched on her cancellation over her racially insensitive actions towards Faith Stowers.

Turns out, Stassi’s really loving her writing era, as her third book’s about to drop. On this one, it’s “basically” her “diary,” so we’ll likely find out what happens when people stop being polite, and start getting real. Le sigh. I miss The Real World.

I mean, Stassi kinda has it all though

Available this September, Stassi’s third book is titled You Can’t Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide to Taking the Pressure Off. As a working mother, I feel this concept. The pressures in this life hit from all angles, and at times, they are often hard to manage. In her post, Stassi agrees, penning that “This may ruffle some feathers and piss people off, but unpopular opinion, You Can’t Have It All… or at least not all at the same time.”

As for this book’s contents, Stassi explains that “This isn’t a self-help book.” Instead, her pages will simply talk about where she’s currently at in life. This includes the sharing of her “deepest darkest secrets.” But never fear, as Stassi made sure to note that “it won’t be depressing.”

Further diving into her book’s main concept, Stassi relates her struggles to the norm. “I don’t know about you, but I mentally destroy myself if I’m not excelling in every single thing I do. It’s impossible to operate at 100% in everything all at once.”

Same. I threw processed muffins at my kids as we ran wildly toward my pollen-covered suburban this morning, late. I’m clearly failing in certain areas. However, as Stassi states, “IT’S OKAY,” and “Maybe the key to happiness is just taking a little bit of the pressure off.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 continues without Stassi on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
