Over the years, we’ve seen our fair share of Bravolebrities dramatically storm off the set of a reunion. On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion, we crossed into new territory when Sutton Stracke experienced a health scare that caused her to be rushed away to the hospital. Now that the dust has settled, Sutton’s bestie Jennifer Tilly weighed in on how it felt to watch that level of drama unfold. Here’s a hint: it didn’t feel too good.

Jennifer and Sutton are real-life pals. Of course, the iconic actress heard about what happened to Sutton during the reunion long before it aired on TV. She told Andy Cohen how Sutton called her to fill her in right after filming.
“She said, ‘Oh my gosh, it was so awful — I had to be rushed to the hospital,’” Jennifer recalled. “So I was sort of prepared for it, but it was really sad of me to watch.”
Of course, some people thought that Sutton was faking her medical scare because she didn’t want to be confronted by Kathy Hilton. After all, Kathy admitted that she planned on going after Sutton. However, Jennifer argued that there was no truth to those accusations.
“I know some people are thinking ‘she was faking,’ but she’s not that good of an actress,” Jennifer joked. “She guested on Chucky, she was great playing herself, but I don’t think she could do a full-blown sort of on-the-ground, writhing breakdown. So it made me sad.”
After the reunion aired, Sutton offered up an explanation for the health scare. She said that it wasn’t any of her castmates who drove her to the hospital. Instead, it was her busy schedule. Being a Real Housewife, a mom, a business owner, an occasional actress, and a couture connoisseur takes a toll on you.
“I was burning the proverbial candle at both ends and the wick had run out, and my body just shut down. It was really scary,” Sutton shared.
