Caroline Stanbury and Sergio Carrallo Baby Challenges Revealed

They may have finally moved into their dream home, but no one is nesting quite yet.

Caroline Stanbury and Sergio Carrallo wed in December 2021 during the first season of The Real Housewives of Dubai. They spoke of expanding their family, which includes Caroline’s three children from ex-husband Cem Habib. However, the professional influencer had reservations about giving birth again.

They’ve taken a step forward in the journey to expand their family. However, their dynamic hasn’t changed much in the premier episode of Season Two. If, how, and when Caroline and Sergio decide to welcome a child remains to be seen.

Caroline teased a “baby room” in their new house

During the June 2 episode, Sergio and Caroline walked through their home, which was still under construction at the time.

The couple stopped at a spare room, whose purpose had yet to be decided.

“This is maybe your baby room, I know,” the Bravolebrity teased her husband.

Sergio’s desire for a child is well-documented, and Caroline made another dig on the matter during a confessional interview. She revealed that IVF treatment last year was successful, with one male embryo produced.

“Sergio’s ovaries [were] on fire,” Caroline joked about the experience.

However, Caroline does not want to pursue motherhood further at this point. Though her husband was hoping for a child soon to sleep “by [his] side.”

“I currently have one baby boy embryo on ice where he can stay for the foreseeable future,” she said of her timeline.

So plans for the spare room remain undecided. As the couple continued their house tour, Caroline revealed, “I’d like to have some furniture, I’d like to have my kitchen, and I don’t want to think about a baby right now.”

The couple previously considered the idea of surrogacy, which was recently legalized in the United Arab Emirates.

During BravoCon 2023, Caroline shared the “really good update.”

“I just found out this week that surrogacy is legal now in the Middle East,” she said in November.

Caroline recently shared that she had taken Ozempic to shed the weight she gained during IVF. She and Sergio are still enjoying their honeymoon phase together, with no updated plans to expand their family.
