The beloved ruler of Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder, only recently announced her jump back into reality TV. But she is already comfortable throwing her former co-stars under the bus. Stassi has wasted no time in revealing some not-so-secret feuds in her new book. It’s no surprise that there wasn’t love lost between Jax Taylor and Stassi. Now, the mother of two is making sure fans know they are not okay.
Stassi Schroeder is revealing what led to the fallout between Jax Taylor
In recent excerpts from her new book, You Can’t Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide to Taking the Pressure Off, Stassi named names. She didn’t hold back as she went after the villain of Vanderpump Rules and Brittany Cartwright. It’s been two years since Jax and Brittany pulled out of Stassi and Beau Clark’s Italian wedding at the last second. And Stassi is definitely not over that insult. According to Stassi, the snub was upsetting. She actually went out of her way to call out the former couple. The former SUR waitress noted, “Jax and Brittany were of course invited because they were two of our close friends.” “They RSVP’d yes, but I didn’t hear much from Brittany leading up to the wedding, which was weird because usually you’re texting about being excited or asking what clothes you’re packing or something,” elaborated Stassi.
She added, “Not only that, we started hearing from Beau’s best friend, Rob, that Jax was texting him and Tom Schwartz saying they might not go to the wedding and listing off reasons why.” The excerpt sheds light on what went down between the former friends.
Stassi Schroeder was insulted by how Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright treated her
According to Stassi, Jax went as far as to list reasons why he wouldn’t be attending her nuptials. Stassi wrote, “One reason was that Jax doesn’t like Europe. I’m not saying they had to fly to Italy. I get that it’s a lot to ask. But if they weren’t going to come, they could have told us, and we could have invited two people who wanted to be there.” At the end of the day, Stassi just felt that “A little communication would have been nice, is what I’m saying. It pained us to not be able to invite people we cared about. So this wasn’t a petty thing for us; it was deeply painful. “
Naturally, Jax and Brittany never really saw it through Stassi’s eyes. Vanderpump Rules fans will recall that Brittany sent a text message on the day they were meant to fly to inform Stassi and Beau that the Cauchi’s wouldn’t be in attendance. For Stassi, “It was such a slap in the face. They were supposed to be our ride-or-die friends, and this felt like they didn’t respect that friendship at all.” Stassi poked at the former couple’s wedding, adding, “Their wedding in Kentucky had to be the most important thing in our lives for an entire summer when we were filming the show. We were there for all of it.”

For Stassi and Beau, the Kentucky Muffin’s text was the last straw as she shared with readers, “As soon as I read that text, Beau and I were like, we’re done. I wasn’t going to just roll over for this one.” However, Stassi’s main issue was with Jax because she thought Brittany wanted to come. In fact, Stassi was more upset that Beau had been burned by Jax, and she was over his lies. Stassi added, “Many people couldn’t come to our wedding, but they told us in advance and didn’t pretend they were coming until the last minute. This just pushed me and Beau further away from them.”
Since the ill-fated text, Jax has tried to reach out to Beau, but they haven’t met up. Stassi noted, “I know that, as I write this, they have split up, so I wish them the best. That doesn’t mean what they did is right, though.” Fans will hopefully be given more gossip when Hulu airs Stassi’s new docu-series Stassi Says sometime next year. But for now, she is keeping clear of the drama that Brittany and Jax bring, and I can’t say I blame her.
