Josh Flagg Reacts to Million Dollar Listing Pause: ‘Not Canceled’

Letting go is never easy, which might be why Josh Flagg is having trouble parting ways with Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Although we learned that the show was going “on pause” after 15 seasons, the real estate agent and reality star recently reminded fans that a pause isn’t the same thing as a cancellation. So, maybe we haven’t seen the last of the MDLLA crew after all.

Josh has been a mainstay on MDLLA since Season 2. However, the news that the show was going on pause arrived just a few months after Josh Altman announced his exit from the series. He and his wife Heather Altman joined the show in Season 4.

With MDLLA being the last city standing from the Million Dollar Listing world, we just assumed that this was all Bravo’s final death blow to the franchise. However, Josh reiterated to Us Weekly that a pause is not a cancellation.

“We’re not canceled. We’re on pause,” Josh explained. “That’s a totally different thing.”

We know this kind of sounds like someone going through the denial stage of grief. We can’t rule that out. But, in Josh’s defense, he said this type of thing happens all the time with their show.

“We’ve also been on pause 23 times in the last 20 years,” he continued. “It’s nothing new.”

According to the outlet, Josh seemed “confident” that MDLLA would be back on TV in the future. In the meantime, he’s got plenty of other projects keeping him busy. Earlier this month, he listed a $25 million Beverly Hills mansion, boasting modest accommodations like a spa, swimming pool, and full-sized tennis court.

Although the Bravo cameras won’t be following that listing, you should never count out the MDLLA cast. Josh teased to the outlet that he and Altman might be making an appearance on the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Orange County. The real estate stars just co-listed Heather Dubrow’s home in Beverly Hills. Josh said they “filmed” something recently, so stay tuned for more Josh.

Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles is streaming on Peacock.
