Kelly Clarkson appears confused on learning Meghan Markle has a show on Netflix
Kelly Clarkson recently learned about Meghan Markle’s new Netflix show during a candid talk with Brian Tyree Henry. The 43-year-old actor appeared on the March 26 episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” The topic of Markle’s new reality series came under the spotlight when Clarkson asked Henry about working with Elizabeth Olsen on “Panic Carefully.”
While gushing over the upcoming thriller film’s star-studded cast, Henry went on to share how he and Olsen connected over their mutual interest. He said, “Lizzie and I share the bond of watching television that’s crazy.” Henry continued, “And by crazy, we mean stuff that we just really like,” and added, “So we’re in love with ‘With Love, Meghan’ right now.” At this point, Clarkson appeared confused as she asked, “What is that?”
Henry explained it’s the “new Meghan Markle slash Meghan, Duchess of Sussex show,” and added, “…where she’s also like Martha Stewart now.” Meanwhile, Clarkson continued to listen to the actor with an astonished expression. The actor further detailed his fancy for “these things called flower sprinkles” that Markle created on her Netflix show.
Henry shared that he and Olsen were like, “We need to get in the flower sprinkles game.” Clarkson then exclaimed, “I would love this show!” Henry continued to express his and Olsen’s admiration for Markle’s series and later added that the two are “trying to get on the show.” Clarkson excitedly looked at the camera and urged the Duchess of Sussex to “get him” on it.
The episodes of “With Love, Meghan” are available to watch on Netflix.
