Season 2 of The Valley premiered this week. It’s clear that Jax Taylor’s behavior towards his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, was concerning to the rest of the cast. It was also revealed that in a fit of rage, he threw a coffee table, which ended up making contact with Brittany’s knee. This is the move that changed everything.
Jax tried to explain away the issue in his confessionals. His conversations with castmates Jesse Lally and Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Schwartz took on the same tone. And apparently, it gets a lot worse before it gets better.
The Valley Season 2’s Jax Taylor “knows what’s coming for him is bad”
A source told The U.S. Sun that Jax is anticipating a lot of backlash from the public as Season 2 continues. The insider alleged that the VPR alum is in “panic mode” about how his “horrifying” behavior towards Brittany will be displayed.
“Jax has been trying to rally his Vanderpump and Valley costars to his side these past few weeks so they are publicly supportive of him when the season airs,” the insider said. “He knows what’s coming for him is bad, worse than anything he’s ever done, and Jax is f*cking terrified of fans seeing this new season.”
The season premiere was bad enough when it comes to taking personal responsibility. But supposedly, Jax hits further rock bottom before deciding to check himself into a voluntary mental health facility last summer. It was there that he got a bipolar diagnosis.
The insider added, ”Whatever fans think they’re going to see – his behavior is worse. And most of it is caught on camera, the rest is talked about. A lot of viewers will never forgive him for his behavior, and he knows that.”
The source suggested that Jax is in “panic mode” for what is coming. He feels he must now “save his career” against the poor optics.
“At this point, it’s basically turned into girls vs boys, with some of the men taking Jax’s side but all of the women supporting Brittany,” they explained.
