It’s almost been a year to date since Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules finished with its chaotic reunion. This has given OG cast member Scheana Shay some much-needed free time to work on other things. For starters, she now can dedicate more quality time to her daughter Summer Moon Davies. She’s also slated to join The Valley and will appear for brief cameos in Season 2. Not to mention, a potentially name-dropping memoir is coming out this summer.
Another avenue that the VPR alum is pursuing is music. That’s right, Scheana has been reliving her “Good As Gold” days, specifically on Season 13 of The Masked Singer. Dressed up as a fashionable bat, she sang her heart out on national television. Needless to say, it looks as if she’s been living the good life post-reboot. Which makes her new confession all the more surprising.
Scheana Shay got emotional discussing her mental health on her podcast
Scheana just shared on her Scheananigans podcast that her mental health has been on a decline recently.
“I have really just been feeling depressed the last six months. It was something that I kept trying to just mask and say, ‘No, I’m fine. It’ll go away,’” she explained in the May 9 episode.
Scheana went on to say that she wanted to give this health update in hopes of helping others who live two-sided lives.
“Everything is great but mentally it hasn’t been. I just wanted to open up about that because I feel like you could have everything in the world and still not always feel completely happy. I just wanted to normalize it.”
Vanderpump Rules is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
