Tom Schwartz Left Unimpressed by Jax Taylor in Awkward WWHL Moment — Watch

I don’t think any Bravo fans were thrilled that the network agreed to have Jax Taylor on Watch What Happens Live (WWHL). The villain of The Valley has surpassed the definition of toxic masculinity. Luckily, it seems like Tom Schwartz was on the right side of history. The Tom Tom owner made it clear that he was not impressed with Jax’s behavior and, frankly, might have even been a little disgusted.

Tom Schwartz calls Jax Taylor’s WWHL comments “one part pathetic”

Jax did what he always does. The Valley star repeated a never-ending carousel of excuses as to why he reacts the way he does. Jax must practice his monologue in the mirror every morning to ensure he gets it right. But his longtime friend, Tom, is more than aware of when he is being hoodwinked. And while Jax keeps saying he wants to do better, the key here is that Jax actually has to do better. So Tom is holding space for his new neighbor to walk the walk and not just continue to talk.

After Jax gave his speech to Andy Cohen and apologized to viewers, the WWHL host asked Tom his opinion. He noted, “What he just said is one part pathetic but another part brutally honest. You know, I just, if you’re asking me, ‘has he changed?’ No, he’s not.”

Tom added, “I don’t think he has yet. I think. You know, I’ll give him credit for 201 days of sobriety. He’s trying to be a better person. I’m holding space for hope.”

Tom was harsh but fair. He pointed out that even Jax’s “biggest critics and the people that are most disappointed and resentful of him right now are still holding space for him to be better.”

Directly after, Jax tried to blame Brittany Cartwright for his anger, which left fans honestly questioning Jax’s intentions.

The Valley is available to stream on Peacock. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
