Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 is back and hotter than ever on Bravo. As for the cast, Alexia Nepola is back, as are whispers uttered in confessionals of her ex-husband, Todd Nepola.
Over the years, these two have given us a lot on RHOM. As viewers, we have watched them date, tie the knot, and then shockingly divorce. Now, they are still (somewhat) a thing. And, luckily for you, I will explain why Todd and Alexia cannot seem to quit each other.

Season 7 of RHOM has just begun. Yet, it is already clear that the drama between Alexia and Todd is here to stay. As Alexia explained in Episode 1, she felt blindsided by her man. Now, they seem to be playing the game he loves me, he loves me not on Bravo.
You see, Todd filed for divorce from Alexia in 2024 after two years of marriage. Shortly after, these two reconciled, making Alexia “hesitant” to share any relationship updates with her friends on this cast. “I mean, it’s hard not to give Todd another chance,” Alexia explained in a confessional, adding that it is “hard not to see Todd or talk to Todd when I’m in love with him.” Regardless, Alexia still feels like she and Todd are not yet a done deal, she admitted.
This storyline continued in Episode 2, where Alexia seemed to have another change of heart about their relationship. After confessing that she is still in love with Todd, Alexia detailed how he left, noting that this aspect remains a dark blotch on their story. According to Alexia, Todd left her out of the loop about his leaving plans. However, he packed and left their shared home sneakily in front of her 28-year-old son, Frankie Rosello.
Now, her heart feels conflicted.

Filming for Season 7 of Real Housewives of Miami took place in 2024. Therefore, the footage that is currently airing shows Alexia dealing with this shocking filing in real-time. Overall, Alexia’s current scenes have her in an “emotional limbo,” as Todd now has to decide whether to proceed with this divorce or dismiss his filing altogether in court.
While speaking with her castmate and friend, Julia Lemigova, Alexia stressed, “I hope he doesn’t proceed with [the divorce]. I don’t know what it is, Julia. Like, honestly, years ago, I would have been done. But it’s hard,” Alexia explained.
Realizing that this ball is not in her court, Alexia sighed, admitting that she will “have to accept [his decision] and say, ‘This is what God wanted, and God has a plan. But yeah, I’m super anxious,” Alexia emphasized.
As Season 7 will show, Alexia and Todd ultimately decided to end their marriage. Their divorce proceedings came to a close on March 17, 2025, which is less than a year after Todd initiated the proceedings we are just now hearing about on RHOM.

For fans of Alexia and Todd, dry your eyes. Yes, their union is officially over, according to the courts. Yet, their love for each other remains. Cue several exceptionally candid details Alexia recently shared on Watch What Happens Live, describing how she and Todd are still in, well, communication (of sorts).
When Andy Cohen revealed that his Truth Bomb prop was coming for Alexia, she laughed, saying, “Of course.” Then, Andy read the question, which asked, “Once and for all, what is your current relationship status with Todd?” After realizing that Andy was not going to hand her this bomb prop, she answered his question (and then some).
“Currently, we are not together,” Alexia responded. Diving deeper, Andy next asked when she and Todd were “last intimate.” Laughing with a shocked face, Alexia tackled this rather personal question as well.
First, Andy tried to help Alexia find her voice, asking, “In the last couple of months?” Laughing all the more, Alexia answered no. “In the last couple of days,” she quipped. Shocked, Andy reminded Alexia that only a few minutes prior, she was adamant that she and Todd were no longer together.
“Well, today’s Wednesday,” Alexia joked. And there you have it. This back-and-forth storyline remains ongoing between Alexia and Todd.
