When the world found out that Erika Jayne’s music career was largely financed by her husband’s fraudulent behavior, it left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans wondering what would happen to her career. And, what would happen to her longtime creative partner, Mikey Minden, if she no longer had the income to pay him?

Erika and Mikey have been a creative force for over a decade. When Tom’s case blew up, Mikey was right by Erika’s side. RHOBH cameras rolled as he helped her downsize her wardrobe. Then, he got swept up in Erika’s ongoing Marco Marco lawsuit. That’s the one where she’s on the hook for $300,000 after falsely accusing the designers of credit card fraud.
The last time we saw Mikey on Bravo, he was helping Erika bring the sparkle to her Bet It All on Blonde Las Vegas residency. Of course, that show famously suffered from low ticket sales, with tickets going for less than $10 in some instances.
On the Bravo special following the residency, Erika admitted that the process put a strain on her relationship with Mikey. He pushed her for perfection, and naturally, that caused a little tension.
“Mikey and I have worked together hand in hand for so many years,” Erika said in a confessional. “And I could have never done Bet It All on Blonde without him.”
“And he’s frustrated with me. It puts tension where we’ve never had tension before, but it’s not out of him being spiteful,” she continued. “It’s Mikey wanting the best.”
Despite their low points, Bravo’s The Daily Dish confirmed that Erika and Mikey are still as thick as thieves. The RHOBH star recently performed at Mighty Hoopla in London, and Mikey served as the creative director. As long as people keep booking Erika, we can assume that Mikey will be right behind her, making sure she looks her best.
