Dolores Catania Leaps to Teresa Giudice’s Defense After TV Interview Drama

Everyone should have a friend like Dolores Catania. Of course, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star brings friendship and loyalty to a new level. No matter what, Dolores always has her friend Teresa Giudice’s back. And she is never afraid to speak out and defend Teresa.

Dolores Catania thinks Teresa Giudice did the right thing by dodging a tax question

Well, during an episode of the podcast Two Ts in a Pod, co-hosts Tamra Judge and Dolores discussed Teresa’s latest headline. She was appearing on WGN Morning News in Chicago when host Larry Potash asked about her tax issues. “How is it that a family doesn’t pay their taxes for years?” he asked.

An unhappy Teresa quickly moved to hang up from the Zoom call. “Okay, I’m done now,” she stated. Hanging up during a live interview was … a choice.

“I think that she was so taken aback because when we speak to people – literally a news station – we’re not expecting that from them,” Dolores explained on the podcast. “We don’t expect that from anyone.”

However, Tamra had a different point of view. “I would have just said, ‘For me personally, since you brought it up, yeah, it’s a situation we’re dealing with,'” Tamra said. “‘End of story.’”

Still, Dolores wasn’t happy with the way that Teresa was treated. “He threw her off, and it was nasty. Teresa does not like somebody to try to make a fool out of her,” Dolores explained. “That was rude. I felt bad for her.” The RHONJ star added, “Just so you know, for whatever it’s worth, Larry, I’ll never come on that show.”

And according to Dolores, the fans are allegedly team Teresa. “Everyone’s siding with Teresa. So once again, she lands on her feet,” she stated. Well, with debunked rumors that Teresa was let go by Bravo, and RHONJ still on pause amid casting, Teresa might want to skip any live interviews.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
