Shannon Beador just couldn’t help but to take a jab during the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 premiere. Of course, it was directed at her ex-boyfriend John Janssen, and his fiancée Alexis Bellino. Alexis was not asked back for the current season, and therefore lost her platform to respond. But no worries, she did it anyway via an exclusive interview.
Season 18 was an emotional show-down between the two RHOC veterans. It peaked with a lawsuit that John filed against Shannon for $75,000. It caused her a lot of distress on camera. Off camera, the former couple settled out of court. But the Real For Real founder is not over it. And she let RHOC viewers know when she claimed the $60,000 she ended up forking over to John will finance his wedding to Alexis.
Alexis Bellino and John Janssen’s wedding sounds expensive
On July 10, during the Season 19 premiere, Shannon told producers in a confessional interview that she doesn’t “think about John Janssen at all” these days.
“I did settle the lawsuit because it was important for me to not have any ties to him anymore. We settled on $60,000. So enjoy that wedding that I paid for,” she continued.
Alexis snarked back via an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. She said, “$60,000 barely cuts one piece of the cake. So here we go, Shannon. We’ll send you one slice of the cake.”
“First of all, obviously I’m still Shannon’s storyline, and I’m glad I could help her out with that,” the former RHOC star continued. “But here’s the other part to that. Let me just set the record straight. It was $75,000 she owed my soon-to-be husband. We then gave her a discount of $15,000 so you’re welcome Shannon, but also keep his name out of your mouth. She can’t keep his name out of her mouth, but [he’ll be] my husband, not hers, so it’s time for her to move on.”
Alexis has been coy about the wedding. The date is unknown to the public. The most that anyone knows it that it will take place this Summer 2025.
“We’re moments away,” she teased. “I don’t want to say months or weeks or days, because I don’t want anyone to really know the wedding date, and I know there’s a lot of speculation that it’s August, but you’ll have to wait and see.”
