Welcome to the recap for The Valley Season 2 Episode 14. In the last episode, Janet became a full-blown Bridezilla, and she isn’t even the bride. And Brittany was at the center of the firing squad for always choosing Janet. This week, Janet is still stewing over the insults Kristen threw at her. Danny and Nia are looking at homes. And Jax and Brittany argue over how to co-parent. So here’s exactly what happened on The Valley Season 2 Episode 14, “Making Up Is Hard to Do.”
The Bookos are making moves

The Valley gang is back from the Big Island. And Jasmine is all about the hustle as she tries her best to sell Danny and Nia the home of their dreams. I will say it is nice to see a positive storyline for my favorite couple. The home is gorgeous and has so much natural light. Danny is even glowing as he imagines his four under four brood. However, the home is smaller than their current penthouse condo by a mere 800 square feet. The number right there was enough to send the actor’s voice up an octave. It seems the deal breaker might be the one sink in the bathroom. Here’s what we learned: the pictures lied.
The house already needs to be saged as She Who Should Not Be Named was brought up, aka Janet. Voldemort of The Valley keeps showing her true colors, and Nia is over it. I appreciate Nia. She is kind but firm. The friend group could learn a few things or two from this beauty queen.
The friend-ship has sailed

Voldemort Janet is still doubling down on her use of the term “sexual assault” when she described Danny’s interaction with Jasmine. She hasn’t gotten the hint that it isn’t her place to talk about the issues since she wasn’t even there. Naturally, the topic of discussion turned to Kristen. And Scheana, with all her wisdom, pointed out that her former co-worker loves to latch on to the popular girl. Evidently, Kristen doesn’t care who she has to step on to be the queen bee. Excuse me, Scheana, are we even watching the same season? It’s very apparent that Kristen is standing up for her friends who are being attacked at literally every party. As for Danny, he is now mourning his lost relationship with Jason.
Why is Jax still in episodes?

While Kristen and Luke are still basking in their newly engaged light, Jax drops by. The man brought an orchid, which only enraged me more. Do you know how hard those are to keep alive!? Jax also comes with an apology for almost outing her big news! Once again, it is hard to feel bad for this man. Jax shared he hasn’t seen Cruz in a few days, but every episode, it is getting harder and harder to believe he is telling the truth. His goal is about being a co-parent, but even Brittany found it hard not to laugh.
Cut to the next scene where, I kid you not, Jax tries to manipulate Brittany into giving him the Ring password code for the camera. Even though Brittany might be a little naive, she isn’t dumb. Try again, Jax. Our Kentucky muffin is spent at the Jax Show and just wants some peace.
Jesse is back in the narrative

You know you’re old when you’re complaining about the number of stairs in your condo (cough Jax cough). Jesse is also winded from the house tour but has more pressing matters than his cardiovascular workout. It appears that “Russia and Ukraine have better communication” than Michelle and Jesse. The realtor just learned that Michelle might have filed the wrong divorce papers, and there is a possibility the process will need to be redone. Yikes! Perhaps the dumbest part of this week’s episode is watching Janet and Jason getting matching wedding band tattoos. It feels like they are trying to prove all is okay and their love is forever.
Brittany vs. Jax

Is Jax concussed? I mean, he seems utterly confused about the reason why Brittany filed for divorce. But she still agrees to meet with him so he can see Cruz. B is literally a saint. But the devil comes in all forms, and today it is Jax’s bad behavior. Jax is delulu. He genuinely is confused as to why they can’t just go their separate ways and still be friends. The tension is palpable, and Jax is triggered by the fact that there are no photos of him in the house.
The saddest thing to come out of this conversation is how Brittany really thought he would change. But she is done. D O N E done.
The Valley airs Tuesdays at 8 PM/EST on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
