Here’s Almost Every Horrible Thing Jax Taylor Did Over His Bravo Career

Jax Taylor has been a lightning rod for drama since the very first episode of Vanderpump Rules. For over a decade, he’s crashed parties, betrayed friends, and somehow managed to stay on TV while being objectively chaotic. Some might argue he made great television. Others (us) think he made great cautionary tales. Now that his Bravo run seems to be winding down, especially after his abrupt The Valley exit, it’s the perfect time to look back at the many, many times Jax showed us exactly who he was. And spoiler: it wasn’t pretty. Here’s a roundup of almost every time Jax was just plain horrible.

Every time Jax Taylor was horrible on Vanderpump Rules and The Valley

One of Jax’s lowest moments came during Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, when he publicly mocked Ariana Madix for liking men and women. During a Watch What Happens Live episode, he said that Tom Sandoval was jealous of his wedding because Ariana “likes women.” Jax was trying to insinuate that the Love Island USA host was a lesbian instead of bisexual. His opinions of Ariana got worse. He was then caught talking about her depression to Scheana Shay.

Jax noted that he thinks Ariana “uses her depression” for her benefit. He explained, “Every time you’re okay and then you don’t like something, the way the conversation is going — ‘I’m depressed!’” Basically, the former SUR bartender thought that the blonde used her depression when it was convenient for her. It was clear he was more than happy to weaponize other people’s therapy sessions, and mocking Ariana for her struggles was just the start.

Jax Taylor wouldn’t film with Billie Lee

Shortly after Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired, former SUR employee, Billie Lee called for Jax’s termination, too. She took to X to call out Jax for not filming with her because she was transgender. She tweeted, “@BravoTV, what about Jax Taylor? He refused to film with me because I was trans and called him out on his white cis privilege. Stop celebrating his disgusting actions. #CancelJaxTaylor.” Billie also shared her experiences with Page Six. She noted, “Jax and a lot of people were very kind to me on Pride when I first met them and in front of the cameras,” but when the cameras stopped, so did Mr. Nice Jax

She shared, “Later that day, he told me a story about how he hung out with a girl and kissed her and found out she was a dude, and it grossed him out and made it clear that he’s not into that. And so for me, I was very like, ‘Oh, 360. Like, you’re coming on to me in front of the camera. But off-camera, you’re making it clear that being trans is gross and you are not down for that.’”

Jax Taylor cheated on every girlfriend

It’s not even an exaggeration. Jax built a Bravo persona on cheating. Stassi? Cheated. Laura-Leigh? Cheated. Kristen? Yes. Carmen? Yes. Tiffany? Also yes. Brittany? You bet. His most infamous infidelity came during Season 6 when he cheated on Brittany Cartwright with SUR hostess Faith Stowers. To make matters worse, he lied about it for weeks, then cried for sympathy once he was caught. And let’s not forget his smug mantra, “I’m the number one guy in the group.” Sir, you’re the number one reason every woman on this show needed therapy.

Jax Taylor picked out Brittany’s boob job

In another moment that aged like milk, Jax proudly declared that he picked out the size and shape of Brittany’s breast implants as if her body were a customizable Barbie. And the reason? Because he paid for them. Jax’s involvement in Brittany’s plastic surgery made it somehow more sinister because he likes boobs. Sure, Brittany agreed to the surgery, but the way Jax took ownership of it was peak controlling energy. Even worse, he acted like it was a gift to her when, in reality, it was clearly a gift to himself. We’re not sure what’s worse: the comment or the fact that he expected applause for it.

Jax Taylor posted racist tweets

Jax’s social media history is as messy as his love life. In December 2020, his old tweets resurfaced, revealing a string of problematic, racially insensitive posts. Faith Stowers, the only Black cast member at the time, accused him of contributing to a toxic environment on set. A fan on Twitter asked his thoughts on Faith becoming a permanent member of the cast. His reply was “She’s wanted by the police for grand theft auto and ‘awol’ from military, bad idea to be on a reality show dude. Someone’s going to jail.” The backlash was swift, and though Jax issued a vague apology, it felt more like damage control than genuine accountability.

Jax Taylor flipped a table on Brittany

During The Valley premiere, fans learned that in a fit of rage Jax flipped a table during an argument with Brittany in their home. Was it Teresa Giudice levels of iconic? No. It was terrifying. The moment wasn’t just dramatic. It was deeply uncomfortable. Brittany appeared visibly shaken, and the cast immediately questioned Jax’s behavior. Brittny cried to the cameras, sharing, “He flipped the coffee table and it hit my knee. It turned black immediately. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, oh my God.’ I’m like, screaming, crying. It was terrifying.” This wasn’t a Bravo tantrum. It was a red flag.

Jax Taylor manipulated the rehab center

During Season 2 of The Valley, Jax briefly flirted with the idea of turning his life around by going to therapy and attending a rehab program. But according to Brittany in the most recent episode, Jax allegedly used the rehab stint for PR campaigns since he hasn’t really changed. Viewers watched as he rage texted, and made a mockery of the whole thing. Jax may have been Bravo’s go-to bad boy, but his behavior wasn’t just messy. It was often toxic, manipulative, and deeply problematic. While he brought plenty of drama to Vanderpump Rules and The Valley, it came at the cost of real damage to relationships, reputations, and, in some cases, reality TV itself.

The Valley and Vanderpump Rules are available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
